This board when way downhill when Chicago and Illinois were split. It has been disappointing ever since.

Exclamation

If you look at the postings to the Illinois forum over the last 2 months, the most active thread is this one: guys wanting to know what happened. What if each of those guys had actually created a thread about some other topic relevant to this forum? Or responded to the others that did get posted? Or what if just a few of the 142 guys who apparently looked at this specific thread had done the same thing?

Forums rely on the men and women who read them to post and reply and if you're wanting to know what happened here, you could start by asking yourself when was the last time you contributed to this forum? Seriously. It might be easier to bitch that it all happened when the Chicago guys wanted their own forum, but isn't that just a little too easy to blame someone else?

Right on the mark, Sugar Daddy. If they want a better forum, contribute.

Adding to area disabled

No wonder no one is looking. I tried to add a few areas to the I-74 corridor and it was disabled.
There is a new Loves Truck stop at exit 149 on I-74 at the Le Roy exit North side. There is also a Woody's Truck stop at the same exit on the south side.
In Bloomington there is Ironwood Park on N. Linden Ave just North of the I-55 overpass on the right side.
There is my contribution. What we need is a separate East Central Illinois thread from Champaign to Danville and a Central Illinois thread from Farmer City to Peoria and a West Central Illinois thread from Peoria to Galesburg. Create an I-74 Corridor and I-55 Corridor and so forth to narrow down areas of interest.

Can you be more specific as to what you mean by 'disabled'? What was the exact web page you were using at the time and what error message did you receive? Please be exact so we can find any problem and fix it.

The dropdown menu that allows new areas to be added was prefilled with 2 listings, one of which was in New Mexico, don't remember what the other one was, but they were locked in and could not be changed or added too.

Thanks for the response. Please confirm this is the page you went to for adding a tip for Illinois, the page where you had this problem:

http://listings.cruisingforsex.com/cfs/index.php

That is the place you go to add to the sex listings. If not that page, if you could tell me which one it might help us find a problem and fix it. We monitor this constantly and this particular problem is nothing we've ever seen before. Not to mention we get new tips all the time including lots from Illinois and they seem to get added without a problem.

It was similar to this page, but it had a single dropdown menu that was titled Add New Area here When I clicked on the dropdown Albuquerque, New Mexico was locked in. I can't find the page I was on, but what I was doing was looking at areas that listed popular places to hookup and there were listings for the I-74 Corridor that had rest areas truck stops stretching from Farmer City to Peoria.

Just checking. It has been another 48 hours since I posted here that if only one of you would start a new posting maybe you'd accomplish your goal. A handful of you have since posted, but no one has yet to actually start a new thread about the real topic, cruising for sex in Illinois. Just more about why the board is dead.

The forums we have that are active are that way because men actually post to those forums. When shall we stop talking about why no one is here and instead start posting new threads?

Here is how you add a new tip or review an existing place. Go to the sex listings here:

http://listings.cruisingforsex.com/cfs/index.php

Do a search to get you to the area of interest. In this instance, do a search for lllinois. The results for the entire state will now load unless you do an advanced search that allows you to narrow things down to a specific city/town or specific types of places (rest areas, bookstores, etc).

Once you get your results, scroll down to see if the Loves Truck Stop in Leroy is listed. If not, go to the bottom of the search results and click the button that says "Don't see your favorite spot? Click here to add a new place in this area."

I've included a screen shot of the next page. This is where you add, first the city if it is not in the pull-down menu. Leroy IS already included in the list of cities. Select Leroy and then continue down the remainder of the page, adding what you know about the Loves Truckstop. Our editor will sign off on your listing and then it joins the rest of the visible search results for Illinois.

I hope this helps. Still not sure why you're having this problem. Just in the time we've been talking about this, guys have been adding new tips to Illinois so it is working.
