I met a guy last night who had a type of popper I had never seen before. I will do my best to describe it.
He had a white nasal tube that was empty, then he took out a small pouch, maybe 2 inches long. He then snapped the pouch and put it in the tube and used it like you would use nasal spray. He offered it to me to try, but since I had never seen anything like it before I declined. Can anybody give me any information on what this stuff was?

I've never seen them before, but from your description, sounds like real poppers to me. Not the kind you buy in a bookstore, but the medical poppers. Poppers were originally used to treat heart problems (don't ask me how, that is a question for Dr Danny). Just as the fake ones do, they lower the blood pressure. Just like people who take nitroglycerin for chest pains, medical poppers were used to lower blood pressure. The name poppers derives from that fact they are in a glass vial that you "snap" (or pop) in half and wave under the nose.....like smelling salts.
My guess is he is in the medical field and obtained a supply of the real thing.

They could have been real Amyl, or they could have been the imposter.
Years ago, Rush brand could be bought both ways- as a bottle, or in individual ampules like the ones you've described. I don't know if the ampules are still available, but I can remember in the 70's and 80's seeing them in stores. You could also purchase an inhaler to hold the ampule after the glass vial was crushed. The advantage of the ampules is that unlike the bottle, there was only a small amount of liquid, and each new ampule was a fresh supply, so there was less chance of the stuff getting stale.

Yep, it was probably medical grade amyl nitrate. I just had a circumcision done, and they gave me amyl nitrate in these little white fabric mesh covered glass ampules. To use them, you just crush the ampule between your thumb and forefinger and inhale.
Now, the reason they gave me these after getting a circumcision, was to use at night, when I got a nocturnal erection. The drug makes the erection go away almost immediately, which is great when you're trying to prevent stitches from tearing out of your newly circumsized cock, but I now wonder why, for the life of me, anyone would use this for sexual enhancement if it makes your erection go down?

Sounds like these were, as described above, real amyl nitrate capsules. I had access to them while in the military. I was a weapons specialist/NBC non-com. NBC is short for Nuclear, Biological and Chemical. Amyl Nitrate is used as a slowing agent for a Persistent Nerve Agent. Pop the capsule and inhale if you have been exposed to nerve agent. The slowing of the blood pressure shortens the infultration of the agent into the blood stream was the theory.
Now, that was 20 years ago, so I am sure that things have changed since then, but I remember "popping" that capsule and getting a great head rush! Mix that with some great weed and I am in a sex whore...but that is another story for another time.

I have only tried poppers once because I don't feel a need for them. When I am horny, I have no trouble staying hard while a hard dick slides into my ass. Personally, I love to cum while being fucked and I do not understand why bottoms like to be fucked while they are soft.
