Oral Rinse - Antiseptic

Would anyone recommend a certain kind of rinse for oral hygiene if I'm going to a club and may get alot of mouth action?

Any antiseptic brand will work fine -- Listerine or the generic equivalents. I like Target's blue mint myself, closest in flavor to genuine Listerine but about half the price. Wal Mart's mouthwash sucks. K Mart's is OK.

But... it's probably not going to serve any real purpose except to give you fresher breath. If you are planning on sucking a few dozen dicks and don't want offensive cum-breath -- it will certainly do the job for ya.

If you are looking for some sort of STD protection... well, there are two considerations here:

1) Mouthwash primarily disinfects with alcohol, though a few brands use fourteen-letter chemicals that essentially work in the same manner, killing bacteria and consequently odor along with them. There's absolutely no data available to say if mouthwash can help "protect," even a little bit, against STDs. But the good news is -- it probably can't hurt and it is entirely possible it MIGHT help (a tiny bit).

2) The only "warning" that might be necessary here is that excessive use of mouthwash can seriously dry out the oral cavity. Not only does this actually PROMOTE bad breath, but it certainly makes coming up with the necessary saliva needed to suck dick like a pro kind of tough. But more importantly, a mouth that is TOO dry can develop many more micro-tears in the mucosa, which can slightly increase the risk of letting a bug get somewhere you don't want it to be.

So again, the solution is moderation. Using some mouthwash isn't going to be a problem if you take it easy. Odds are high that it won't do a damn thing to help or hinder STDs, but it's only fair that you are informed of the possibilities.

If you are seeking ONLY to freshen your breath, consider Listerine Pocket Packs, Altoids, or some of those new breath sprays from Listerine and their generics. If you want some germ-killing action, use antiseptic mouthwash in moderation.

I once met a cocksucker who kept drinking swigs of cough syrup every few minutes as he took my dick into his mouth. I assumed he either: A) had some serious bronchitis or B) thought the alcohol in the mouthwash was a good STD prophylactic. Didn't change the blowjob at all, except it was kind of weird to watch. I'll imagine that he was quite buzzed on the stuff by the time he finished up -- looked to me like he downed almost the whole bottle.

oral hygiene

You asked about oral hygiene, not freshening your breath, so let me suggest that you consider hydrogen peroxide. It has a 16 letter name but is a really simple chemical, H2O2. To kill germs with a product such as Listerine you have to swish it around in your mouth for a minute or so.

Hydrogen peroxide directly oxidates organic compounds such as those in bacteria. It foams when it is killing bacteria. Put a little in your mouth and pretty soon you will have no liquid, only foam and a lot of dead bacteria.

The drawback is that it is very peppery tasting and I doubt that you would be comfortable using it every 15 minutes.

There was a university paper about a year ago that actually proposed that alcohol may, in fact, promote HIV infection. It was very prliminary and needed followup studies to verify the theory. But the basic premise was that cells from a healthy mouth were subjected to alcohol (in a lab) then to HIV. The infection rate was higher than in the control group. Again, all done in a lab dish, not a real mouth.

I'm not promoting this theory, only reporting it. If I wasn't so lazy, I'd try to google it for you.

and peroxide has such a nice foaming action too... are those the "scrubbing bubbles?"

Good Grief!

OK, here is the paper:

http://uclasod.dent.ucla.edu/CMS200S...20-%20Pang.doc

I re-read it and it certainly is not definative. It actually raises more questions than it answers. But it looks like alcohol at 4% concentration increases the abilty of HIV to infect epithelial cells (the cells inside your mouth). The mechanism is unknown, since epithelial cells do not contain the CD-4 protien, which is the method to infect T cells.

I have no idea of mouthwash concentration, but certainly food for thought.

The problem with all of these suggestions, including my own, is that excessive mouth-rinsing with anything other than water will ultimately result in dry-mouth. This isn't conducive to great cocksucking -- and it can also lead to those micro-tears already discussed.

Kill ALL oral bacteria on a repeated basis is also not a good idea. Can have a backfire effect, making breath stink even more.

But if you are doing this one or two nights every now and then in a sexually charged atmosphere... it's not going to be a big deal.

The best advice is to avoid taking cum into the mouth. Period.
