Does anyone have any good lubes to reccomend for anal play in the water (shower, hot tub, pool)? I've tried the silicone based lubes, but always had trouble cleaning the shower/tub, so that I don't slip on it. I've also used petroleum jelly, but it is thicker than I like. I've used water-based as well, but it washes off so easily, that I have to constantly reapply it. Any advice?

Have you tried the LIGHT version of the Silicone-based lubes (ID Light, Eros Light, etc.)? Also, if condom-compatibility is not an issue, Elbow Grease (or, even better, Elbow Grease Light) works pretty well in the water. Not GREAT, but better than your average water-based lube, and it doesn't leave the shower slippery or dirty.

I'm awaiting a shipment of J-Lube, which is a veterinary lube popular with fisters. Supposedly it's slippery as hell ... maybe someone out there has experience that they can share? If no one else responds with their comments on J-Lube (from EXPERIENCE, please?) then I'll let you know what it's like when I get mine in the male (<-- yes, I can spell).

Mineral oil is more liquid than petroleum jelly and it works great for bareback ass fucking (safely of course) underwater.

Avoid Johnson & Johnson's baby oil (which also contains mineral oil) because it has a fragrance that tastes bad if you are rimming or sucking inbetween fucking. Go to a good drug store and ask for a bottle of plain mineral Oil that is used for common stomach ailments (it does not require a prescription). It will have a label indicating it is for human consumption so that you will know it is safe. I told the drugist that I was using it to condition my kitchen wooden cutting boards -- another good use for mineral oil.

Clean up is simple if you get it on the pool surfaces. Plain soap and water will easily wash off any mineral oil left behind. I like to leave it on my skin as a skin conditioner.
