At the risk of getting wet in this 'pissing match', since Ninja mentioned Indonesia in his post, I'd note that Christmas is an official national holiday in Indonesia (unlike Japan) and almost 10 percent of Indonesians are Christian.
Merry Christmas, everyone.

Gwmcatcher Quotes ,
*** Christmas is an official national holiday in Indonesia (unlike Japan) *** Since you live in Yokohama in Japan , I am sure you know if they have ANY religious public holidays in Japan . Either Buddhist or Sinto .

Hmmmm.... does the Emperor's birthday count? :-)
Ninja, dear. I was not criticizing Japan only noting that Christmas IS a holiday in Indonesia (despite its Muslim majority.) all countries are different. While Japan has no official religious holidays, all Indonesian holidays are religious with the exception of Independence Day. Hope all your holidays are happy! kiss,
