Viagra is readily available anywhere in BKK. Ask at any pharmacy. It's not supposed to be sold without a doctor's prescription, so it's best if you establish some kind of "rapport" with the chemist before asking. Stop by a couple of times and buy other things. Chat with the chemist and build his trust. Then, ask if he has it. If they do, it's in a drawer in the back of the pharmacy.
There has been a lot of police pressure on the pharmacys in BKK. So, chemists are generally leery about agreeing to sell it to you until or unless he knows you. You can NOT get Viagra at Boots or Watsons. Currently, I buy my supply in Pattaya, so I don't know about BKK prices, but a year or so ago, it was about 400 baht per pill. Also, there is a generic Viagra made in India that I buy in Pattaya. It's one-tenth the price and just as good. Now, about taking the stuff: It's best to take it on an empty stomach. The fuller your stomach, the slower it is to act. With an empty stomach, you can expect "results" within about 30 minutes. If you've just eaten, expect it to take an hour. The "life" of Viagra, once it's in your system, is about 4 hours. You'll probably notice that it takes quite a bit more work to get off when you're taking Viagra than when you don't. Also, Viagra, alone isn't going to give you a hard-on. It takes some sort of stimulation in order for the organ to work... Anything else?

In addition to billinbkk's good advice above, I'd like to add a few medical "warnings".
Do not take viagra with poppers. It can be lethal ... your heart can stop. It might be a good idea to check with your local physician before you depart for Thailand. There are certain medical conditions that put one at risk. Just get an "all clear" from your doc for taking viagra. Sometimes pharmacists interrogate me about various heart conditions before they dispense, but not always.

I think Bill exaggerates the role of "rapport" with the chemist a bit. Last time I stopped into a pharmacy in the Sukhumvit area to pick up some Panadol -- and I'd never set foot in the place before -- the pharmacist said, "would you like some Viagra with that?"

The Indian version you may be referring to is Kamagra. I take it in it's liquid form (I don't know of a pill form) and it works really good.
Agreed that it works best on an empty stomach. I don't take the whole pack at one time. I find that even a quarter of a pack works well, a little 'bump' if you will, and I'm sporting wood in about 20 minutes. And an open pack doesn't spoil, at least not within a few weeks. I just keep mine in my truck. As it affects your blood pressure, I definitely wouldn't do it with poppers. I think the extra push you get from Viagra or Kamagra, or any of the others, makes up for the feeling you get from poppers. Honestly, I have a hard time keeping a woody with poppers, anyway. I know that's why others want to use Viagra. But I'd do poppers if you're a bottom, Viagra (or whichever one you decide upon) if you're a top. If you really want Viagra, I'd avoid the cheap chemists. I think that Siam Drug (Patpong II) will carry Viagra. They will probably want a prescription. But you can probably get that pretty easily. At least it will be the real stuff.

Use of Viagara or similar generic drugs,
It is dangerous to use these drugs with any form of Nitrates, not only poppers, these are usually prescribed for heart conditions, and combined with Viagara, can dramatically reduce your Blood Pressure, as I'm sure most regular users know, so new users beware, it might take three days, to screw the coffin lid down, but you'll die with a smile on your face.
