Website below, pictures not updated but the construction shows it's going to (hopefully) look like a luxurious bath house. 150 baht fee with free booz and food.
http://www.thailandout.com/farose2/index.php Located in Soi Ramkhamhaeng 21. I wonder if you can go there by boat and how far is it from Ramkhamhaeng University. This place may attract lots of Ramkhamhaeng Uni students.

The Mall 3 klong boat pier is closest to soi 21(300 meters). The Mall 3 is between soi 15 and 17. Ram 1 uni stretches from soi 29 to 57. Soi 29 also has a boat pier, but either way you have to walk to soi 21 to cross the klong to get to sub soi Nuan Si 2. Most of the odd-numbered sois are packed with student accomodation. Soi 29 is particularly rich with oodles of bottoms.

One of my best friends told me yesterday that the owner of the original FAROSE informed him the opening of FAROSE 2 had been postphoned another month , when he visited FAROSE last week .
By the way , I think this NEW FAROSE is close to RAMINTRA - ARTNANONG road rather than Ramkamheang road . And RAMINTRA - ARTNANONG road is hardly serviced by public bus . Probably go by taxi from Rachadapisek , somewhere near MRT Thai cultural centre would be better ?

Dear Ninja. 600 meters is the distance of this sauna from Ramkhamhaeng Road. I walked it last week. Thailand Cultural Center MRT station is more than 5 kms away. The nearest point on Ram Intra is 11 kms. Even though it was not open, the building was recognizable from the web site pictures.

I see what you mean, Ninja, but the sauna map shows it on soi Nuansi 2 off Ram soi 21 and that's where I found it. SC Hotel, as you say, is on Praditmanutham road and under the express way, but at the far end of Ram soi 39 and 2 kms away from the sauna. Let's just wait and see where someone else finds it and reports back.

I went inside the gate last night and saw a lot of construction activity. Some of the workers are cute and muddy and tempting. However, I think it will require another few weeks to finish. A photo below from their website pretty much reflects the current situation. But I feel it's going to be worth waiting for...it is half way along a sparsely populated, quiet residential dead-end soi 200 meters long. The soi is a sub soi of Ram soi 21. It is called soi Nawa Si 2 on the soi sign.
While there is limited parking in the soi, the sauna grounds are extensive and have a large, dark blue marble gateway. It looks as extensive and purpose-built as Chakran...but inside it may be different. The distance from Ram road is as per the map above and easy walking distance from Ram Road or even The Mall klong boat pier. I have attached a Google Earth photo with the relevant landmarks. The sauna building is clearly visible on Google Earth.
