Plaza Hotel Bangkok & Bodybuilder

Hey
Any comments on this hotel? Overnight guests ok?

Also, any ideas on best place for massage by bodybuilder/muscular guys?

I have not stayed at The Plaza since they introduced Joiner's fees, though several friends have stayed there and not been charged. They used to charge 999 baht for rather tired rooms. It''s a bit like boy roulett.

The location is good, the rooms are nice and mostly redecorated, the pool is great and the gym had a gorgeous muscle attendant. I never made it ti breakfast.

www.asiarooms,com has rooms from 1060baht inc breakfast. I suspect that these are the old rooms and the Superior ,done up ones are about 1700 baht.

Worth the risk I'd say. Book a double room - same price - at least you can get two breakfasts even if they hit you with a joiner's fee.

Feedback please.

Tawan Bar is the nearest bar and specializes in bodybuilders. They say that they all can give massage. The best one I know there is Mr. Ot who also has a magnificent physique.

Now - 31 Oct 06 :
Single room - the first joiner is free of charge, the second joiner (and thereafter) is to be charged 500 Bht nett/person (not include breakfast)
Twin room - any joiner will be charged 500 Bht nett/person (not include breakfast)

is it 2nd joiner for the day or for the duration of your stay.

You can try Arena, they do have a wide variety for selection. When I was there early last month, there were at more than 10 muscular guys. Try to visit after 3pm. Many of them turn up for work late!
If you are staying at Plaza, then its only walking distance to either Areana and HIS.

Don't ever recall seeing a hairy muscle man in Thailand.

Try some KL's massage places .
It takes only 2 hours by cheap AirAsia flight from BKK to get there .
I think this is the closest option from Thailand .

Uh...because Thai guys are rarely hairy? And because serious body builders almost always remove what hair they do have to accentuate their muscles?

I'm from Vietnam(Saigon).I will be in kuala lumpur in one day.It is said that there are some massage shops which the masseurs are wild,muscular,huge like ........the pirates......who knows where it is???
