but hurry-this wont last long. was there-food/shop floor, around 19.00 a few days ago-very, very busy and nothing to be seen and the floors were getting mopped that often by lady that they hardly mirror anymore now.
Strange how that area of BKk slowly transforms-there are now 2 or 3 of those design style HTLs, apparently favored by indians/Paks, and this also shows in the shops etc. Prices go up too.

In this week's column, Stickman calls the farangs who hang out at the Tesco-Lotus Onnuch food court the single saddest group of white dudes in the entire Kingdom.

Could he have run into our very own sexytile taking a break between HN crawls?

That's interesting! I haven't read his column since ages, considering that in fact he belongs to the single saddest group of white dudes in the entire Kingdom, i.e. English teachers.

Stickman ...

-- From what I remember of previous postings - some of them possibly in CFS.? - Stickman's attitude is distinctly homophobic

On Nut Food Court today - 1200hrs
Upstairs HN - Quiet but wow those lights... Its the first day of course after the holiday and you would expect it to be quiet/

Downstairs HN - Similarly quiet. As previously noted the downstairs has now also been renovated.

There are two 1M by 2M or so metal ?notice boards. As of today they are covered in a plastic film a la the stuff on new fridges, mircrowaves etc. soon to be removed. May be there will be a mirror finish beneath!

What could these be for?

I walked in front of the old Mc Donald's today, and workers are indeed doing something inside.

I never understood why they closed good ol'Mc D' in the first place anyway, it seemed to be doing good business.

The Tops supermarket downstairs is now closed, though. This is a bit weird since Tops Market at Central is, obviously, closed as well at the moment. They should have waited until the reopening of Central to close the other Tops down IMHO.

-- I doubt if that McDo. ever recovered after the Red Shirts' occupation of the area by the King Rama VI. statue, especially as at least one bullet was alleged to have been fired through its doors.
- One notes, too, that there are now few if any other cruisers in the area from the i'sect. towards what's now the CROWNE PLAZA LUMPINI HOTEL.

-- My boi-friend & I were in the b'ment. TOP'S only today, 16 jan., forenoon; from memory its hrs. are 08.-24.oo.hrs.. Truth to write the o'all. qual. of its goods isn't all that good: adequate for EMERGENCIES at the best. If it wants to replace the now CLOSED TOP'S in SILOM COMPLEX it needs to UPGRADE itself sharpish to take advantage of the sit'n..
