an update from an acquaintance on the web. he reports that the tawan men seems all on off season. generally on the bulking phase for the major competition at the end of the year.

this raises the question on who would have the physique to compete in sextile's earlier announcement.

he also mentioned that the show comprised mostly of the cabaret show after which followed the main event. things are as per usual, the chukwow show that was earlier reported to have been dropped was the usual show finale. what he did confirmned to have been dropped was the removal of briefs on stage. apparently police did not allow it. which begs the question, what about the fucking/big cock/s&m show. well TIT, can't wait for my trip next week to see for myself.

Thank you Sextile for this link. There is a slideshow of a contest at the Tawan and number 7 is my all time favourite Nathakorn Apsuwan "Tong" looking even more spectacular than usual, and that is saying something.

Great link indeed! Seeing these ballooned guys always gives me a good laugh, sometimes there's even some cuteness left on their faces. Like Thai versions of Arnie in the good ol' days.

"Tong" is the most handsome Thai man I have ever laid eyes on, now with a fabulous body. My humble opinion.

sydneyboy, were you in bangkok lately? my information was that none of the guys were anything near competition level. this is actually the time they all bulk up and gain mass before they start to diet and prepare for the competition.

tong, definitely has one of the most interesting faces, and very minimal tattoo makes him a great find. past visits shows that he is very in demand with many farang clients wanting to off him every night. i suspect some even call the bar in advance to ensure tong doesn't go with another client.

but what i really miss is the other tong. he stopped working in tawan for a couple of years now. bigger and taller, and a very happy disposition.

No I have not been for a while, back in November. The photos on the Desire site refer to a Tawan competition in 2012 so it cannot be that long ago. Those photographed look all right. I hate tattoos and Tong has none in these photos. I have seen him with some tattoos in photos on other websites but I wonder if they were "temporary" transfer types. On past visits I have noticed some boys who have these "non permanent" tattoos.

Why does the Tawan web site take forever to load pictures?

could be because they are hosted on slower servers. anyway, the desire album has all the tawan pics for that specific competition.

i raised this question before, did the two guys in the photo received 100k baht each or was it just some kind of photo op?

Those two guys have been working at Tawan for over 15 years as hosts and this was their "Long Service" Bonus and thank you.

visited the bar, almost full for the weekend. i guess that is to be expected for this season. have not seen the usual superstars like mehkin. my friend's report, which i posted dated 4th of june is correct and verified.

main show started around 11pm, cabaret show starts about 15min before that. i was surprised the wait staff remember me and greeted me while i was still in 7-11 corner store, must be a slow season.i i liked that they give you a whole can of soda instead of just a glass of it. i tried their service by asking a refill of ice multiple times that night, no attitude was given. so i gave them a generous tip afterwards.

earlier that night, i supped at telephone bar and noticed that small nop was there with an elderly farang who was also having dinner. i guess some guys do get taken off early.

they are now selling sexy underwear, it is displayed in the toilet for 200bht. and then there's that toilet attendant who would try to massage you while you're peeing. not really sure how much i need to tip that guy, since i do not want him to touch me while i'am doing my business.

did not notice anyone smoking in the bar, most of it was limited to the toilet. there is this chubby staff (not gogo boy), who caught my eye. he seems to be in charge of choreography, i wonder if he can be offed as the boys are now in the same shape as him.

was surprised that they had to close the bar before 1am though.
