Here's an update:

Visited Tawan on a Friday and Saturday night. I sat through the show on Friday, as my favourite choice wasn't there.

Firstly, you have to bear with the standard Friday cabaret show. Once, I got past the usual 3-song number, I sat back on the sofa to enjoy the real show.
