an addendum to my acquaintance trip report was he saw a very old guy in the tawan line up. he was told the guy was 48 years old wearing the 28 tag. he was told the guy was one of the pioneer of tawan. still in good shape for his age, but definitely showing the age.
One doesn't have to feel sorry for the have-nots, either. If they can't make it in "show business", they can easily get a "regular" job and have happy lives like the 60 million other Thais in the country.

Is the party over? Are there still shows under the curfew?
Should I just cancel my trip?

Everything is normal up to midnight, when some things may or may not close.

I have heard that some places, like DJ and G.O.D. are even staying open until 4:00, so you can just party from midnight until the curfew is lifted at four.

Re mobile phones

Not quite that simple.

Most are bought on a small deposit and monthly payments along with hefty interest charges.

Many of these youngsters are not thinking about whether they can really afford the more expensive models (example - could be 25,000Baht, meaning overall 2 to 2.5 years of monthly payments, maybe even more) regardless of whether they get regular offs or not.

Soi 2 deserted and soi 4 packing up at 11pm. Howeve the main problem is getting a taxi after 11pm. Gas stations close so the taxis are only wanting to take rides if on their was home. We waited over an hour for a taxi that would take us 15 mins to rama3. Not fun in silom stranded as every thing closing.

I called them up, and they said they close between 11:30pm and 12midnight.

I wanted to write about a new show segment that I've seen in April, before this coup/curfew thing happened.

So, remember the guy Nut that I mentioned died? Anyway, he plans all the new crazy ideas for the shows, and this is his latest and last project.

In the opening number, music to the superhero movies are played. Out from the door behind the stage struts Superman, Captain America, Batman and Green Lantern out! In full spandex, almost translucent suits tailor-made for the Tawan muscle guys. The suits look really good, like Underarmour/body paint good!

They weren't erect on stage, and when I asked the guys when they finished why they don't, they said that the suits are tailor made, cost a few thousand bahts per suit, and it would not be "proper" if they were erect. They said that it is so well made, it makes them look really like the superheros (Asian version of course) with hidden zippers for the front (to pee of course) and the back. It seems a shame Nut died, but I am hopeful this special superhero uniform segment will live on.

A real artist in erotic performance lost!

i saw these superhero costume performance early in april. unfortunately the guys where not their hunky self, so the costume just fitted like it would any other dude.

during that time, only the superman costume had the front zip opened so show mehkin's engorged c*ck. the chubby guy taking attendance actually can't distinguish the other hooded heroes like spidey which was played by A.

this would certainly be a good alternative to their grotesque S&M costume. the material is made of spandex, so it should be able to stretch when they guys will be in their contest shape.

btw, they did start to use black condom, i think as part of the S&M theme which is really a downer for me. hope they change it when they run out of supplies.

I was about to ask the same question. I will come in Thailand in a few weeks. As there are only a few bodybuilding contests in october and november, would like to know how are the boys.

Yes, but maybe there aren't that many interested in Tawan.
