Behind the curtains ... .

-- Possibly there are those who are becoming tired of the usual 'Short time.' or 'Love.' hotels in the gen'l. area of Soi Twilight - off Suriwong rd.?

Theme rooms

Many years back there was a small but well stocked go-go bar about 250 metres down the soi first on your left after turning from Payonyothin into Soi Aree.

They had big discounts for a themed short time hotel just 5 minutes walk away.

Must admit I don't find any great turn on by themed rooms but this place was clean, the owners had done a lot of work to make each room very different, well designed and well built, and I recall very inexpensive.

I forgot abot it until Sextile posted his message. Not sure if it still exists.

I have asked this question before but have never had very satisfactory answers. Can anyone recommend from personal experience a "QUALITY" short term hotel around Patpong? A friend was taken a while ago to a "short termer" by a boy he had offed at a bar which my friend described as the ultimate passion killer. Suggestions apart from the obvious (Suriwong and BB Inn) welcome.

Ive been in 2 others-1 very often-neither of the 2 are ''quality''
1.in Patpong 1-very near Screw Boys=looked like a Hospital room, all white and stark, very clean, and also felt like being in a hospital. As windows led outside and curtains were not/did not look that secure, I wondered also about ''peep-inns.
2.NIAGARA_in soi 9 off Silom-a short walk beyond the canal. Old-style thai Htl-but last yr they started to renovate 1 side and all rooms/walls taken away-then left the pieces and did not carry on.
The other side was slightly renovated, rooms all have 4-side mirrors, some even at the ceiling, but only cold water and again starting to show the usual wear+tear. 300 bt/3 hrs+small tip expected.
AFAICR Suriwong also does luxury rooms-with a larger sit-in bath.
There should also be lady-aimed bars (well, I man mix couples)-fairly easy to spot when walking aong-and really, other as so many here seem to fear, they dont discriminate between MM or MF couples-its just bisnis.

That bar was called "Jupiter", I believe. I don't know if there is any relationship to the current bar by that name.
