-- I would hope, for the sauna's profitability, that it would be busier at week-ends than when I was there - possibly as many as a dozen and an half of visitors then, ('But I hae me doots.', as is said in N. Britain.),? But maybe the inclement weather was a greater deterrent than the attractions of free adm'n. before 17.oo.hrs. on that particular day?

Visited Gaya a few weeks back on a Tuesday night. Not that busy with probably more karaoke happening than anything.

I returned again on the Friday when they had free entry till 8pm (no longer on offer). I along with many others had to wait for a locker as the place was full.

If you have no luck at Gaya its just a short walk to Cruising Sauna.

3.- Locker contains:
3.1.- one Condom & one sachet of lube.;
3.2.- Two hand-towel sized towels;
4.- Lockers are locked by integral lock & ext'l. padlock;
5.- Because of the small sized towels most people continued to wear their briefs/u'pants. except when in the sauna, shower and/or steam room;
6.- Only one shower with hot water heater seen, that was near to the small fitness center/gym.; remainder, mostly on outdoors' & garden level - are cold water;
7.- Sel'n. of drinks - not free - available in Karaoke room;
8.- No mouthwash seen to be available;
9.- No handrails for stairs leading-down from sauna's and showers' garden-floor level - so be careful when descending!
10.- The roof-garden seems to be well laid-out and would probably be a great place to relax during times of clement weather.

-- When I was there I was the only farang; most of the others were late 20s. to mid-30s. I'd guestimate; only one obviously older Thai seen.
- Only activity seen was either in the steam-room or in the dry heat sauna. Naked Zone seemed to be nigh-on deserted.

seems they have done away with the "dragons" show (a dragon peeping out of the curtains) on a Wednesday night.

- On my wednesday's visit, and because of the drizzle, I left before then; were the show to be at the Roof Gdn. I saw no fun in standing in the cold rain.

just for the record: MIXmen- just off Ratchdamnern, opposite sake pub, has closed a few monthes ago.

went to malebox last night, big crowd for first sat of month. gift cd,drag show and fu..show, then foam. too much foam for short guys (I feared going under!). Everyone wears small sarong. MB is in the small soi surrounded by Central Rama 2. Friendly owners, i was only farang

I did not have much success last night. previous visits a few months ago were better.

I always seem to have better luck on the not-so-busy nights. Too many choices leads to "waiting for Prince Charming" syndrome, I think.

yes, I think you are right! But I do love the local saunas, and when the local guys get over their shyness a good night can be had by all.

went to Edok sauna just over the bridge. Poorly maintained (really). About 20 guys for this local sauna. Not farang friendly. yes I know maybe they are shy or maybe not turned on by me (at all). Never mind. I still enjoy searching the suburbs.

went to Heaven last Monday. Spa not working. When owners are not there the staff just hang around, never change the DVD, and smoke.
Tried Bangkok 10 sauna. Talk about false advertising! Already the maintenance is lacking. Showers don't work, and I expect a broom has never been seen. Unfriendly fat staff who closed up before 10pm. The owner must have bags of money to throw away.
