Pattaya's weather ...

-- For most of this week - monday 13th. onwards - the weather has been unseasonal, especially for what's regarded as the Tourist Season.;
- Generally cool to chilly; not all that much sunshine but MORE often o'cast.. Rain at unusual and disconcerting times, causing the young men in the concession in wch. we go to move-around the umbrellas so that those who remained behind and braved the inclemencies could do so under umbrellas that are LESS weakened by yrs. of tropical sunshine and have MORE cloth in them;
- Today, (17th.), forenoon en route to our destination here in BKK. we passed an illuminated temp. sign - this would be around 10.oo.hrs. or so - wch. shewed 74F., on the cool side for hereabouts.

-- Thai young men recommended as bed-warmers!

Back to sunshine and more seasonal weather today. However as my favourite hambuger lady on Soi VC said " dtonnii Thailand mai mii rideau" (now Thailand has no seasons)

Bars still quiet- and with most of Europe closed by snow today there will be a lot of frustrated crusiers freezing their balls off and dreaming of getting here - come rain or shine - its better than where they are now!

Good weather and arrival of lots of happy holidayers this weekend saw Jomtien beach quite crowded,but surprisingly few boys.

Contra to report a couple of weeks ago that Pattaya now has extended opening times, that is still not approved by BKK and closing times are;

Walking Street 3 am
Other discos 2 am
Other bars 1 am.

Thats the official line. "The Dave" style mega discos seem to close when the last guys leave (usually 5 or 6 am!) T.I.T. !

This weekend also saw a jump in activity in the go go bars. On Sat night, 3 of the Sunnee bars had closed or were turning away customers by midnight "no have boys enough!"

Gay Romeo however has lots of boys - my "miserley" standard 1,000 bt tip is extremely popular and I am daily contacted by msn and via Romeo by too many of them seeking return bouts So many boys - so little time !
