Other places are hit-or-miss. You may get lucky, who knows...but don't come expecting it.

If you are happy to hook up with other not-so-fit, not-so-young customers, GG Sauna caters to Thai daddies and grandpas.

yes, I agree but I find it fun to search out new saunas. If you revisit a place then armed with a smile and positive attitude your luck may increase.

Absolutely. It's good to keep expectations in check. Most young hot Thais are interested in each other, but luck can smile on you.

just found the location of GG Sauna in Samsen railway station. my question is, would it be difficult to find a cab in that place in the evening around 9-10pm to go back to the hotel as i suspect it is not one of those touristy place?

you should have no problems at that time. However, unless they change with the new renovations, most customers are gone by 8pm. Only at GG does this happen. They arrive at 3pm. If no taxi then a 14 or 12 bus will take you to Victory Monument juts 10 mins away.

There is no problem with taxis there at any time of day. But yes, this is an afternoon/early evening place.
