cubmaster~ you've adequately made your point regarding the mustang in upland!!! Let's give this topic a rest and let the thread take its normal attrition rate. You have unnecessarily placed it on several southern california cfs message boards whereas it only belongs on this on!! Enough is enough, dude.
If the mustang fiasco didn't exist, you would still constantly be adding your two cents every opportunity you get, usually recommending places that attract senior citizens & chubs or are poorly attended. This is not about protecting your fellow cruisers from being arrested--this is about you 'grandstanding'!!! Just didn't want anyone else to get busted at THE MUSTANG ...looking after my fellow guys instead of just thinking about myself, like some of you.
Actually (if you read the newspaper article) guys came to MUSTANG from ALL over .... hence the warning on the other areas. If you read the LA and Orange County postings, there were several guys there thanking me for posting it. I was just commenting on someone's thread about hearing about THE MUSTANG on a radio program .... complain to CFS for making the posting pop to the top, NOT ME!!! Other people can post comments, but not me?? The Moderators of those other areas did not delete my warning postings about THE MUSTANG so they saw nothing wrong with giving guys fair warning. Let the Moderators do their job with you not being some type of dictator of the Message Board. Simple .... Just PASS on any postings you don't want to read. Excuse me about "my identity"??? My profile is filled in. Next time I am headed to a venue, I will be sure to post so you can come see me. Finally crenshaw/rosecrans - 99% of your postings are complaining about something. About this place raising their prices, that you hate this particular club, and now complaining about my postings. Get a little brighter outlook on life. |

I always want to hear SOMETHING NEW about TBT or CCBC (so thank for your info on their updated web site, that information was not on their site the last time I visited it) ... cockboy previously asked the same questions in several postings with many already answering him, hence this posting of his redundent.
Obviously he is trying to drum up some enthusiasm for his upcoming visit as opposed to the normal serious inquiery here. Quite the difference between the two. My posting of THE MUSTANG on the other cities' board could be called redundant, BUT others from those areas do travel to THE MUSTANG. I received several personal e-mails thanking me for the "heads up". I don't mind repeating a warning if it would prevent my fellow cruiser from going to jail. To have to go to court. To have to pay a fine. To have such an indicent on their record. No doubt in my mind that TBT and CCBC are sexual venues in which sexual activities happen. |

Myhtlroom, TBT stands for Total Body Therapy, a gay bath house at 808 N. Arrowhead Ave. It's the closest action in the area you're staying. From your hotel you can go west on Hospitality Lane about 1/2 mile to E St. and turn right (north). Go about 3.5 miles north on E St. and turn right on 8th St. Go 3 blocks to Arrowhead Ave. and TBT will be on the left corner. The parking lot entrance is on 8th St. This may be the best route if you are driving during rush hour. They also have directions for those traveling by highway on their website at totalbodytherapyspa.
CCBC stands for Cathedral City Boys Club, a gay clothing-optional hotel in Cathedral City (part of the Palm Springs area). They have day/night passes available for those who are not hotel guests. It is about an hour drive but it's certainly better than sitting in a hotel room by yourself all night! Both are open to visitors 24 hours daily. |

Just one bear's opinion, I find TBT quieter and more friendly than facilities out west. People TALK to each other here. There is more social... sex. But at the same time I have always scored, even on a slow night, and that is not easy for a middle age, balding bottom of a bear.
Conversely I like the Midtowne Spa in LA when I have time to fight the traffic. I like the huge steam room, indoor pool, and find the dark maze exciting (though unfulfilling). The glory hole room is fun (though impersonal to the point of rude). Rude. Yes, for the most part I find people at Midtown Spa standoffish and rude, where people at TBT feel more familiar, even for complete strangers. |
