What's the deal, are there any bookstores left that are worth visiting? What facilities do they offer? Any cover charges? Private booths? GH's? How tolerant is the staff?

Wow, I can't believe a year has passed since I first asked this question.

A year later, anyone have an update for us? Not just on the locations, but what the cruising scene is like? I miss Jackman's out in Rialto, wish it was back again. The place was a dump, but the cruising there was out of control, and the owners were pretty decent.

went to the Redlands bookstore based on recommendations here - good access from freeway but the place definately wasn't all that. Glory holes in 4 booths, but booths way too small, holes too small for us thick dicked boys. Only a couple of non intersting guys there - oh well

i've never been to the redlands ABS, always a little worried about the police presence.

as for the mustang, it used to be a great place to go, especially after 11pm on weekends. haven't been there after hearing about the crackdowns. the only drawback is that you get some chatty queens in there and a whole lot of people just looking. i'd be willing to try it again.
