Thanks for let us know about the Redland ABS, that night the ABS was closed. Plus a pig told me about 5 arrest at a "ABS". Thinking that this is only bookstore in town. Also I look up if any news happening in Redland and nothing. So I glad that everything is back to normal. Plus I look up if any news happening in Redland and nothing.
Thank God!!! So just to add be careful and safe.

So i went to reedlands yesterday. after reading on here about the cops i was really careful. i was there at 6 and it was packed. alot of guys just watching. made me nervous. i got into one of the gh booths and just jacked for a while and watching the booths next to me. when i was ready to shoot i gave it to the guy thru the hole....
can you get busted for using the gh? you are in your booth alone..

Yes, you can get busted for using a gloryhole. It may not be an actual crime, but that doesn't prevent a cop from hauling you away and making you a public example.
Very often arrests in these kinds of places are not based on concrete law or legit public complaints, but instead they come about because a cop fails to get his payoff or someone has a personal anti-sex agenda. I don't want to frighten you and the odds of getting busted at any ABS are pretty darn remote, but it is naive to believe a cop will not do you wrong and that they always play by the rules.

If five people got arrested at an adult bookstore that's usually a story the local press would report. I'd expect to see something in the Redlands or San Bernardino papers. Have any locals seen any press coverage of arrests?
What the prior poster shared was a story that he heard, told to him by a policeman. Nobody here has posted that they firsthand saw a raid or know someone who got arrested. I guess I'd like a little more evidence, like a news article or a firsthand account, before I decide whether this really happened or not.

OK. I’m confused (seems to happen a lot lately.) The only Redlands book store I see on the list is The Adult Shop which got a ho hum review (bad selection of mags, saloon doors, etc.. Then I see a review that says locking doors and glory holes. Then Keith says “lots of men, lots of gloryholes." Are we talking about the same store here?

went back to this place on a friday at noon, and had the thickest, longest uncut black man cock i've ever had. Then went to a glory hole booth, and a nice silvered goatee sucked me dry when I came. Had such a good time went back Sunday afternoon at 4- and it was filled with wanne be pretty boys worried about no one there 'good enuf' for them - so it set a whole bad vibe/mood to the place and no one had a good time. Guess its hit or miss

The Redlands bookstore is still my favorite in southern Cali. I avoid busy times like evening rush hour when there are too many guys hanging around competing for the store's three gloryholes. I have better luck during off hours---1 or 2pm, after 9pm, when there are only a few customers around.
If you can't get a gloryhole there are eight private booths large enough for two with full length locking doors. The staff is friendly and doesn't bother customers in the arcade. I wish the staff would go in back more often and throw out some of the nonpaying booth hogs. Good selection of movies, gay and straight. Movies operate from a card, $5 minimum. I've talked to a couple customers who are regulars and local residents (I'm not) and neither has heard of the arrests that were reported in this thread last April. My opinion is the story probably wasn't true. The sign on the door says the store is open til 1am, but I think they really close at midnight. A couple weeks ago they wouldn't sell me a $5 card at 11:45pm because I wouldn't have time to use it before midnight. faithCD--I've never seen a crossdresser at the Redlands store. Anyone have updates on any of the other IE bookstores?

FIRSTTIMETRY8 & SUKUOFF: As far as the Ontario/Pomona area, I'm unsure really. As far I can remember it was all about Mustang on Central, just north of the city of Pomona. --However that place is still in a state of distress, & don't know when or if it'll get it's shit together. I have heard about a place right off the 60 fwy (santa fe springs?) but have never been, & you'll have to check yellowpages.com or switchboard.com. Pomona in particular has some pretty heavy street cruising in & around the Art's Colony area (2nd street pedestrian thorough-fare), the train tracks (metrolink) just north of 2nd. street, & all around the two gay bars which are a stones throw from the Art's Colony area. FAITHCD: Corona area is an even bigger mystery to me, wish I could help there. As far as Redlands/San Bernardino being cross-dresser friendly, I'd say sure! I don't see why not. (Have seen at San Bernardino area ABS) & sure Redlands wouldn't trip! FURFACE: Yes, the two Redlands descriptions are of the same place. The one about Redlands having full doors & increased action is more recent than the other. This place was kinda ho-hum, then changed owners, got remodeled, & kinda recently became more popular then before. The staff has improved, the hours shortened (used to be 24hours- perhaps that's why it attracted recent attention from cops, who knows!) Anyway, it's better or more frequented as of recent. UNCUTTHICK: Yeh, I'd agree it's hit or miss just like any other I suppose. Glad you had a goodtime COCKHOUND: I would tend to agree w/ you about it having to be in the paper or something. I too would have chalked it up to rumor or something, had I not heard about the busts firsthand. (I live <5 miles from this place) That being said, I tend to believe that they were an isolated incident, maybe part of some larger sweep or county task force, who knows! -- It's rare that such a thing would occur often, neighbors don't have much to say about any other "busts" so-to-speak besides that one, ...& as long as customers are using common sense, acting accordingly, & not putting themselves in potentially dangerous situations, then being a patron at that store should be A-okay!
