What the fuck happened to maximus? I went there last Thursday and all the doors were cut in half and all the locks were taken off.

I used to go there, dump a load down a tight throat and leave. Clean, quick and no hassles. That sucks.

Now that both Maximus and Dr Video have been ruined...Anyone have any suggestions for Jeffco area. I visited a place called Bobbys Books on 61/67 a year or so ago and they did have an arcade with buddy booths...anyone know if its still open?

they are still there 61-67 but no more back room with video booths,,,,,,,,south county area shot forget it.....up north new release hit miss but haven't changed setup still pretty much do what you want they dont care etc......i been going over across river to larry flynt's place 6 bucks get in theather area 2 theathers one mixed mfm other gay to enter though 1 dollar pretty much anything go's there as long as you use your head lot of old old guy's hang out there buggers at times but hey were all going 2 b old farts one day......pure pleasure festus ,,,downtown ,,,westport all run with a tight restriction don't go to them .......................wow looks like st louis& county area going to hell for finding descent place to xxx play....i'm going to stick with a sure thing ( flynt's )................

unfortunatly due to the new jefferson county laws, all adut stores offering booths and theaters have to be like that. that include maximus and dr. video. now you have to make a little drive to find a hot mouth or ass, and I can always find one or both at the hustler theaters.

I was in St. Louis 2 weekends ago. The bookstore in Brooklyn now has a theater. It has 2 nice sofas to fuck on. It's not real busy yet but that should change. I did manage to get fucked three times and sucked 4 guys off.

Might be a good place to check out on your way to the Hustler. It's a better room than the Missouri side ever had. Just needs to get better known.

the "smoking rooms" im both places have lights in them that make it so the camera can see inside the room. the new jefferson county laws have completly ruined them for cruisers. now all they are good for is toys and videos rentals/purchases.

Have to go across the river to have a good time without being harrased

Stop in and have a discreet conversation with the clerk on duty on how to behave in their establishment.

If you don't like it, you can always leave.

If you remain and have a good time, don't forget to give the clerk a NICE tip on the way out. (Five to ten dollars is not out of line)

(This rule of thumb can apply to any bookstore in the USA)

From what the clerk at Dr Video told me,that Jefferson County told them to make such changes or have their doors closed.I am sure it has hurt them a great deal.I find my best luck is now on the east side at the Hustler club.It's cheaper,cleaner,and illinois doesnt have a bunch of fucked up m4m laws on the books.As to a "tip" for the clerk,I have been to bookstores all over town and several out of town and have never heard of such a thing.Local laws are what govern attitudes by clerks more often than not.

Never heard of tipping in bookstores? Neither had I, but since I got such good service and these clerks are so underpaid, I'll continue to do it.

I don't see what it can hurt.

I do not agree that clerks operate by laws alone.

What law was it that mandated most clerks would be assholes?

Didn't mean to step on any toes here.However I still stand by my comment that how and what is allowed in bookstores is "more often than not" dictated by area laws moreso then how I treat a clerk.Most clerks at such places are told to watch and correct any behavior that could get the establisment in trouble with the law.I also point out I didnt say it was the only thing,I simply stated "more often than not".I stand by that.Missouri has sodomy statues still on the books as well as other enforcable laws when it comes to this kind of activity.Illinois has much more lax and no laws against m4m sex.I have been a patron of the hustler club since it first opened.It used to be quite slow.Between the two theaters and the booths there are often scores of men looking for action there now.I'm sure there are slow nights but those would be the exception in my experience not the rule.I had much worse luck at dr video and even worse luck at maximus since it had been Award several yrs ago and raided by the police.Most clerks don't set out to be assholes just because they are underpaid or not tipped.They are considered assholes when they dont let just any behavior happen that could endanger the establisment and draw law enforcement attention.I have on many occasions witnessed guys who are overly aggressive and way too blatant with their sexual behavior and sometimes expose others who dont wish to be a part of or involved with such behavior ,at least with them,then get all upset because the store askes them to leave.Both store in the Jeff co area once had booths with glory holes.This was brought to the attention of local authorities who told them to correct the problem.Now the lights/half doors is the latest in a push to keep the sex out of the stores in that area,it has nothing to do with one clerk being a jerk or asshole.They are just trying to do the job their employer has asked them to do.I think most would rather not have to yell at guys or tell them to leave.This is what the store managment has told them is their job..

I admitt, I've gone in the past with no luck...went this past Tuesday and it was obvious something had changed....now I know what....the changes in Jeff. Co.. I had the best time dick was plentiful. Best dick was in the st8 theatre. I entered, only one in theatre, soon another guy came in and sat in back. I was on the side. Two more walked in, and sat down. No movie was playing, so one got up to go tell front desk.
