Aircraft News in East Hartford is the best bookstore in CT. Clean, no hassles. You may have to wait around to find what you want, but he will come. Open booths make for hot action. Some guys can be too pushy and try to join when they arent welcome, but that is usually manageable.

I think the best (that I've been to anyway) is Variety Video in Old Saybrook. The booths are only separated by curtains, so lots of "visiting" goes on.
Unfortuantely, I also have to say they're the worst. Somehow they're immune to the CT no smoking law. And there's guys that go in and just sit and watch videos and smoke. They're not interested in "company", if you know what I mean. J

I was thinking of going to Old Saybrook maybe around 5:30-6:00 today. Have not been on a Saturday in a while. If I remember last time I had a pretty good time.
I agree with TVslut. While I have never been to Waterbruy I hear it can be vary hot. Have been to Romantix in East Haven and it is pretty good to but it is hard to beat Old Saybrook for easy access between the booths and for non-intrusive management. If it wasn't for the occasional smoker who sits in the booth with their coffee and chain smokes one after another, it would be the perfect place. Some people complain about the price but I think the price is very reasonable when you consider all the benefits and the fact that you don't have to sit there and feed a money machine. They are usually very generous on time unless there is a waiting line and lets face it, if you can't get it done in an hour then today is just not your day. On the other hand, the place is NOT for anyone into privacy. What makes it so much fun for those of us who don't mind being watched makes it a bad place for some one who just wants to be one-on-one.

I would also list Old Saybrook Variety video as the best and worst place.
The management couldn't be nicer, the layout of the backroom is good. The wooden wall, curtain dividers work well, but the smoking is horrible. I leave there sometimes reeking of an ashtray. I have mentioned it to a couple of the staff there, If you are polite and tell them about the issue they may stop the smoking. There is one guy there who always wants the middle booth, sits and smokes and watches videos and drinks coffee for a couple of hours at a time. He does not play, he does not jerk off, he does not watch. I think we need to chip inand a buy him a DVD player so he can watch at home. I would also list the vidoe store in Meriden as having some of the worst staff around. I have not seen that rude, ugly old troll that yells at customers, sneers and makes fun of guys he catches fooling around, and is constantly checking doors in a while but I suspect he wil turn up when I least want him to. I have never tried the Waterbury or Naugy stores, a bit far of a ride for me, but if it were really hot I might go.

Romantix in Milford is not discussed much but it is a great spot. It is clean, the staff is no hassle, the crowd is as good as it gets at any of the other places and it is more hit than miss. I usually go on weekdays on my lunchbreak anywhere from noon until 2pm. I'm thinking of dropping in today as a matter of fact.
I also like Boston Books, but its more of a ride for me and the crowd has been light since the remodel. The place is dingy, but plenty of freedom and its cheap.
