It is extremely unlikely that the ABS management would allow you to bring video taping equipment into the booth area. We have enough problem with fights caused by camera cell phones, and would worry what other activity you might catch on camera.

At least in NYS, I would find it hard to believe the operators would put video survellience cameras inside the booths. Maybe in the hallway, but even that could scare away a lot of business. If you ask and are told there are no cameras, and then find your privacy invaded; the lawyers would kiss your ass for a piece of the settlement on that lawsuit. This does not apply to cameras on the sales floor or outside for shoplift prevention and crime deterrants.

I do know that in some localities in Florida, the ABS is required to have all booths under camera and must stop any activity including masterbation.

Now, all is not lost. If you were a regular at the ABS, and made a special request; it might be possible to set up an after hours video shoot. Bring your equipment in and make your own "amateur" ABS movie. Promise the ABS a copy of the tape. Imagine walking into the ABS, and the clerk tells you "Check out the action on Channel 5.
