This may be old news to some of you, but COA Sauna is apparently no more. I tried to visit this evening.
Luckily, the good ol' Prince was still open...and hopping with some surprisingly cute guys. I didn't want to hog them all, but I did sample three.       |

I visited this sauna soon after they re-opened the renovated and half sized cruising area . They switched off the air-con and the VDO b4 8:30PM when I was still there . There is no way for this scale down sauna to survive in that area . ( Who can beat SAUNA MANIA ? ) I saw a post on another board reporting BABYLON is now very quiet even during the peak time in weekends . All you can see there are tourists , farang expats and now middle aged loyal Thai regulars and money boys . Can anyone confirm this ? |

Last night ( SUMO night ) at SAUNA MANIA ,
I noticed quite a few Asians talking in English to Thais . Does it mean they are Singaporeans , HKGs, Taiwanese , Malaysians , Japanese and so on . Surely they have shifted to this sauna from Babylon or Chakran now. I saw only 2 farang customers last night . One of them is mid 30s and handsome and very good fit body with a HUUUUUUGE dick ! He was selling like a pan cake ( not in orgy , just one 2 one ) I am sure he had sex with not less than a dozen of Thai guys last night there . Is this guy any of the board member here ? ( R U coming next Friday too ? )  |

I do keep trying to find reason to go to a different sauna than Babylon.... but to be honest, every time I go, I'm enjoying myself quickly.... never met a money boy there, have I just been lucky? I'm not a hottie, but in good shape, 36yo white guy.
Last time it was a Taiwanese, then a Thai guy who had just arrived from 6 years in the US. So I guess they could be discounted as "tourists", but they were sure fun tops! Whew! I have found it busy enough to meet someone  on a Thursday afternoon in late June, then again in late July on a Saturday between 4-9pm, and finally again last weekend. As for the other saunas, I will try to get my lazy butt into a different one next week when I'm back in BKK.

Interesting that current Thai patrons of Babylon are described on this thread as middle aged.I have found it difficult to find guys over 35 in Bangkok still doing any mainstream sauna or bar scene.
Babylon has its faults but still delivers most times. |

Yes I can tell a middle aged person from a young person.Asians hold their age well for sure-better than farang.A walk from Nature Boy to Tawan will show the difference between early twenties to over twenty five.All over the world I have had good times with Asian guys but over 35y.o you can tell.They are a rarity at Babylon.
But reading your posts Ninja I am sure you are a very well preserved 37 year old (according to profile) in great demand among the 20 somethings.I'm jealous and reaching for my Botox and changing my wardrobe. |

I think it's a matter of luck, sometimes when I'm at Babylon, I'm often chased by old asians, but at my age, I think they must be interested in Necrophillia, I keep thinking I should stop going, but I still find many young lads, thankfully wanting Fat , OLD Farangs, but alas, my latest medication, has prevented any hopes of an erection, I wonder if there's any young kinky lad, that likes playing with a limp chipolata????? I think it's more a question of how well you maintain your body shape and youthful exuberance that determines how successful you are at saunas and other cruising areas. While I have been rejected because of my age, I have never had much problem finding a younger guy to console me quickly...heheh. Why do you think I go to the gym like crazy when I am in Malaysia? After two months of Italian food, no exercise and nearly non-stop writing, I can't wait to get back to my gym routines before hitting Phuket and Bangkok in October or Novermber. I haven't put on weight because I have been watching what I eat but I have certainly lost muscle mass...at my age, maintaining muscle mass is a real uphill battle! But it's worth it. You won't believe the number of younger guys who find a muscuar father-figure sexy as hell...wish I'd been this careful about food and exercise when I was younger...to think of all the things I've missed...*sigh* Tao
