LCC terminal to KLIA, City Centre

Malaysia's Star newspaper had this to say last month:

"A shuttle bus service will ferry passengers from KLIA to LCAT [low-cost air terminal] and vice-versa. Talks on public transportation from the Kuala Lumpur City Centre to the LCAT are underway."

On Feb. 11, referring to the Mar. 23 opening of the low-cost terminal, the Star reported: "'The free shuttle service for passengers who need to move between the LCC terminal and the main terminal to catch connecting flights will be ready by then,' [Transport Minister] Chan said, adding that the service was available at intervals of 15 minutes."

According to the Star, Chan also "said that the Entrepreneur and Cooperative Development Ministry would decide if the limousine services currently in use at the KLIA main terminal would be extended to the LCC terminal."

WE NEED free shuttle service for passengers who need to move between the LCA terminal and the main terminal to catch AIRPORT EKSPRESS , or just an EKSPRESS TRAIN station in the new LCAT .

Shuttle bus service to Salak Tinggi station

I have finnally obtained some information of the new terminal .

KL's Budget Air Terminal

Actually , last week when I inquired with MALAYSIA TOURIST office , THEY EVEN DIDN'T KNOW about this terminal at all .

I realized ALL Thai tourists travel by mini van or train to Malaysia .

By the way , soon after the opening of KL's LCCT , Sinagapore Changi's Budget terminal will open .
I might use this new terminal in April , if Thai AirAsia moves to the budget terminal .

For your reference . Changi Budget Terminal

KL low cost terminal

Apart from the LCCT terminal, did you get the news that Malaysia will be increasing its airport tax? Its proposed to be RM60 but yet to be confirmed by the transport ministry.
I remember reading an article that buses operating from KL Sentral to the LCCT will based on the Air Asia flight schedule and fare will be from RM6-10. I find it hard to believe that the fare is rather low but then was wondering if they meant from the KLIA terminal building. Will have to wait till 23rd or 24th when everything is finalised and confirmed.
People are also claiming that the LCCT building is done in a rush job just to get to be opened ahead of the Spore LCCT and also to be called the first LCCT to be opened in Asia! Blaaa

Thai Air Asia will not be moving to the Budget Terminal in Changi/Singapore. For some reason, they'll be staying put where they were. Tiger Airways will be moving.

One of TEMASEK airlines

Thanks for the info , Sloot .

***
Thai Air Asia will not be moving to the Budget Terminal

***
They always use one of very very end gates in Terminal 1 ( such a distance from Immigration counters ! )

No wonder they still charge S$15 for airport and airport security charge , instead of S$13 for the budget terminal .

I guess TEMASEK's another budget air , JET STAR ASIA wil move to
the budget terminal .

I hope Thai AirAsia wouldn't move forever from Thai sky .

Zippo quotes ,

and fare will be from RM6-10.

IT IS very cheap when it's compared with the one way Airport EKSPRESS fare ( was RM35 1 year ago . should have increased by now )

During peak season like Sornkran , AirAsia ( the both FD & AK ) is MORE expensive than some full service airlines such as INDIANS , GULF AIR or even LUFTHANSA's internet fare .
Why do we have to bother budget airlines and the budget terminal , if it's so inconvenient to get there and get out from there ???

Ya Ninja, you do make a point here.....since the budget terminals will be further away, taxi fares might be more expensive and that is if they do know the way!! They might just send people not familiar with the terminals to the main terminal!
Unfortunate, non budget airlines only have occasional specials during the off peak season.

LCCT airport tax

In today's newspaper, it has been announced that the airport tax will be reduced to RM35 instead of RM45. But that does not mean they will refund you the RM10........ that's what I think
Maybe Ninja can bang a few tables and ask for a refund!

Just a note to Ninja our sauna lover. Incase you hear anything about Absolut Massage and Sauna in PJ SS2, just don't waste your time going there. Its a small sauna and when I was there this afternoon to try the massage, there were just a few out of shape guys. Had massage with local masseur...just a soso massage with 'urut batin' ....massage your dick n balls. That rascal after getting me so hard, told me its times up!!!
Left me with a pole sticking out to go to the bathroom for my shower! The other massage places in PJ that has Thai boys and China boys have all closed down due to police clampdown. So, I just have to wait for my trip to Bangkok to enjoy the delicious Thais.

There's a half page advert on the bus service from KL Sentral Station to the LCCT in Sepang. Yes, its only RM9.00 one way. You can log on to their website to check www.skybus.com.my

Question Where is TIBA ?

And where is Bertolak ?

AK 885 from BKK arrives ( if it doesn't delay ) in KL LCCT at 23:25 .

The last direct bus to KL SENTRAL is 0:30AM ?
20 to 30 minutes delay is very usual , if you fly with AirAsia .
Have to ready to travel that LOOOOOOOOONG distance by taxi
( and raedy to pay higher taxi fare )

It seems to me Bertolak is nowhere, but it is a Malay word that means "Departure". Likewise, Tiba means "Arrival".

And, if I read the bus schedule correctly the first bus to leave KL Sentral for LCC-T is 3.30 AM. The last bus from LCC-T to KL Sentral is 11 PM. Travel time takes 1 hour 15 minutes each way.

TIBA?

Ha ha....Thai Guy is very correct....Bertolak means departure and Tiba means arrival. The time table has dual language...English and Malay.
All the time I guess we'll have to wait and see if they are punctual and also the fare RM9.00 seems hard to believe!
