Decided to check out Sapan Kwai myself last nite, and only got as far as Charming. Arrived about 9 pm to find it quite full of customers (all Thai) and about 12 boys in street clothes sitting facing the audience (typical Sapin Kwai style.) There was a good selection of attractive boys, mainly uni students working for pocket money, and a very helpful youthful English speaking Mama-san. I selected a stunning 21 y.o. from near Chiang Mai and off we went for a very nice nite! A nice change from the pushy Surawong bars. (Drinks about 100bt and off fee 300.)

I went to Saphan Khwai on Thursday night. Dropped in Be High first, at about 9 pm. Less than 10 guys there. Most of them looked like the same crew that have been working there for the past few years. A couple of them are getting old and bloated looking; not exactly a feast for the eyes.
Charming was much better. And yes, the one mama-san was very nice. Can't say anything about his English abilities because we talked in Thai, but he wasn't pushy or annoying like some of them can get. I had my eye on one handsome guy there, but apathy and lethargy got the best of me and went home alone that night. I only wished the boys there dances in briefs like they do at Be High. Call me a pervert, but the more flesh the better. Thought about going by Adam on the way home, but remembering how much of a smoke-fest it was last time (everybody in the place puffing away: boys, customers, mama-san), I gave it a miss. |

The next time you're in BeHigh, ask for Lek. He's from Issan (aren't they all??). He'll never win a beauty pagent, but he certainly makes up for it in effort. He's quite nicely hung and is extremely affectionate. I offed him and brought him home. After a joint shower (where he scrubbed me from head to toe before scrubbing himself), we headed for the sheets. The first thing he did was throw my legs over my head and rim me until I was begging for mercy. Then, he donned a condom and went to work. To say that he knows what he's doing would be a gross understatement. He pulled out and got rid of the condom just as he started to shoot a MASSIVE load all over my chest and face. Once finished, he showered me again and then curled up next to me in bed to watch TV and cuddle. He was in no hurry to leave and looked quite surprised when I offered to pay for his taxi home in addition to the THB 1,000 tip we'd previously agreed to. He's a real pro....and one I'll use again and again. And, as long as I'm talking about him, he told me that most of the guys in BeHigh do NOT like farangs...and that's why they work in a "Thai bar".

I agree with what Icon said. If they prefer a Thai style bar they are certainly working in the wrong establishment. Since that bar has been in business (what's it been now, about 8-9 years?) I'd venture to say that most of BeHigh's clientele has been foreigners. And now that they are the sole remaining bar in Saphan Khwai that offers go-go that's probably even more the case. Then again, I wonder why they bother. During the infrequent occasions that I pay a visit I rarely see any other customers. I wish the "glory days" of the Bangkok go-go bars would return. Ah, dozens of good looking young men wearing only briefs. Hey, I admit it: I want to see more flesh! Going out to these bars where the guys sit around in street clothes staring at a TV screen just doesn't cut it.
