The reasons that Icon writes do make a lot of sense. From a Thai guy's perspective I can see where they would prefer the easier work environment. But as a customer, I much prefer going to a go-go bar and seeing the merchandise on offer, and seeing as much skin as possible. I don't want to stare at some guy in street clothes, wondering what his body is like before I take a gamble on his services. I've only been to massage venues a handful of times, but I've never been that impressed with the overall selection or the atmospere of the places. Guess I"m just the bar type. As for types, I prefer the thinner "natural" look, or swimmer's build, rather than the muscular, been-too-long-in-the-gym sort of guy. But I don't want the tiny little lady boy type either. Guess I'm just becoming harder to please in my middle age!

Finally the bold show with two prs., (1 Btm. the usual & queanie type, the other MORE masc. & quite well-endowed.), all ground work; afterwards a walk-around the spectators, some of whom shewed their appreciation in the usual & approved way.

Last night (4th) I popped into both X-Size (1st floor on the left) and X- Boys (ground floor on the right.) Both allowing smoking (cigs) and quality & quantity of boys in both bars has deteriorated. X -Boys had less then half the usual number of boys, "wan-yut" was the response from mamasan. Nothing took my fancy!

- A couple of other farangs there; sometime later a gp. of farangs entered and sat right in front of the stage, on wch. a plumpish boi was dancing, (?),.
- Having waved-away several boyz who were desirous of joining me I allowed Khun Nat to sit with me: 27YO., (and beginning to shew his age just a little.),; Hair dyed a gingery-blonde color; hails from I-San; he has been working there for the last six or so months.
- I was told that there are ten boyz working there.
- After a wee while fingers and hands started getting to know eachother better. When the boss stepped outside I smoked Khun Nat for a few short moments; but he wasn't feeling too well - having been off work for the previous few days - so I didn't persist.
- I left as 'Pumpkin time.' was striking; declining all kindly meant offers to accompany me on the way back.

Things certainly are sounding depressing. I've cancelled any plans to travel north to the Big Mango at least in the immediate future. Might try a brief excursion out in Pattaya tonight if it doesn't rain. Not overly optimistic, but things can't be worse here than they seem to be up there.

One or two guys in the Boys of Bangkok/Dream Boys picture gallery look appealing, but the way things seem to be going, they are probably all on sabatical in the villages. I've certainly given up any interest in giving Jupiter a try.

Sigh. I could call one of the old reliables, but feel like something new even if the odds for disappointment seem to weigh heavily.

The said picture galary is months out of date in terms of boys who have simply moved on to other endeavours.

It seems to be updated fairly often. I did notice one guy who I had offed and whose picture disappeared as soon as he had left. And almost every time I check it, some pictures had been removed and others added.

In any event I tend to like only a few guys at most in any bar I visit, so it's largely a matter of luck.

My all-time favorite guy once worked at Hot Male. I've visited that bar several times since he "retired" and have never seen anyone else that appealed.

So the pictures are meant more for inspiration than any specific plan ... besides photos can be misleading in either a positive or negative way.

You didn't mention Solid. I was in BKK a couple of w/ends ago. First night I went to Solid and found the quantity and quality was a step up from my previous vist. Met a cheeky /leggy Isaan boy who claimed at first to be 18, then admitted, "18, iik 2 aathit" (in 2 weeks time). So I took him upstairs to one of the cubicles and enjoyed a fun hour.

But lately the boys are less interesting, though I could find a suitable one.
But, with no aircon and air circulation worth mention, and smoking freely permitted, sitting in there can be like sitting in an ashtray, if the wrong customers are present. And lately, they seem to be.

Fresh Beach Boys has quite a good selection at the moment. Tom (No. 3) is cute as apple pie and horny as ....... I met him about 3 years ago at Sawasdii Bar in Pattaya,(a shy 19 y.o. then) but he's now graduated to BKK and is a confident 22 y.o . .. eager bottom and likes to pick another thai boy for 3 ways (including a fairly attitude free boy from Jupiter who we've taken twice now!) 6.- Big **** Show, some 10 or so boyz all of whom wore briefs, wch. they pulled-down as they walked-about the stage; possibly #21. best endowed? Afterwards there wasn't a parade on the floor and around the stage to enable us voyeurs to obtain a closer look.

Khun Kat, 24YO. from SURIN, worked there about 1 month to help pay his way through Uni.; not eye-candy but pleasant and speaks fair enough English. #99. Khun Guy, 25YO. from I-San, worked there about 5 mos.; v. much eye-candy with broad smile & good dentition. My ever so susceptible heart went pitter-pat with him next to me! But having a tee-rak prevented me from making an offer wch. he couldn't refuse.
