Last week; ADONIS (JUNIOR)-Sapan Kwai-soi Elisabeth Hotel-at indeed the very same place as has been for years and years. To cut it short; except for a thorough scrub it also has not changed at all.
Entry 100 bt/weekdays/120 weekend. You get also a coupon-5 of which give 1 free entry-I found 2 more in my locker so duly left mine with it.
Its a 4-story double shophouse from a row. Beside entry are the lockers-some 70 and 2 coin-fed computers-both busy with gayromeo and the like. You get a large and small towel-both well worn. No condoms or easily be found-but I guess bar stocks them.
Floor 1 has a large bar-with hard to find purified water too. Very smokey. Also an eclosed work-out room with 2/3 outdated things anbd a KaraOk room-with 2 fully clad crooners.
Floor 2 has the cabins-and a TV showing STRAIGHT por-Hollywood-but with some 3somes.
Floor 3 has more cabins, is very dark-and has a small open-air patio. Some cabins here have old Thai gay por-but I alas missed Midway's.
Only floors 1+2 have a semblence of AC-its very hot and open in 3-and lots f mozzies too. It all looks very dated and worn and well-used.
Maybe some 15 customers-one good looking just got dressed when I dit undr. Just before I came in some lookalike of the North Korean dictator Kim-JOng-Il came in-belly, thick glasses, curly hair-and he started grabbbing as soon as he saw me. MOre Sino-Thai with fff and sds (fear for farang-small dick syndrome). And a very few normal Thai-30/40 yrs. Alas-they seemed to want the other side as I wanted. left after the 2nd mozzie bit me.
Only if youre desperate, bring OFF and skeetoleene. But even then you have the few more bt to go to nearby 39 undergroung, I guess.

The place has NO AC-and thus may suffer from mosquitoes too.
It is very basic-an older office house converted with the least expense-nothing of designed arts that any gay place seems to have.
They now give out condoms on entry-and also sell sexy underwear there-and i found 1 more in myu locker-maybe left by some unlucky former customer.
The trick with the towles seems to be to tye them together-so that your sides are bare-but you need some friendly other to do that for you.
The big show-bigC and fu..ng also-21.30 in the open-air rooftop-of which I feel very shy. Must have been same boys-strangely they were in the crowd before and after-but wore big white towels-which I only grasped in that show, but also afters they stayed on.
On this rooftop is also a bar with a very tall spiky hair lad tendering-tell him he looks so much like a Korean popstar and he melt for you in your arms. They do some free drinks here.
Most amazing-they speak to you-also other patrons and are not that shy. Even with the 10.000+ farang at nearby KhaoSarn we seem to be a rarity-was asked about wellbeing many times and smiled at.
On my visit there was a bunch of 6-7 deafmutes: on their weekly binge. Quite entertaining-and they set up some trick for me, may report later on that.
Again another side of amazing Thailand.
Negative point; to get there you have to fend off a whole load of ugly katoeys and elder ladies for rent on the big road, yuck.

Indidentally I have tried to compose a full list of BKK-gay sauna's last week. Also on tmmsociety (all down-links in english) there are a dozen or so more. Spread out all over this big city, but notably nearly 10 around Bangkapi/RamkamHaeng.
Question (and hope this time I can get logged on): some show sauna's is what are eseentially gay-massage palces, like Pumarin and even hreo. I think they may have some sauna-cubicle, but as a kinf of treatment, not as in meeting-sauna. Does anyone have a clue about that?

Pumarin has a sauna next door. It is seperate from the massage joint.

Hero also had a large cruising section when it first opened. Until the owners realized they could make a lot more money turning the space into additional massage rooms.

GG Sauna still has both cruising and massage on site, but most of it's clientele are -- should we say -- way past their prime.

Heaven Sauna used to have a massage section years ago..called Eden as far as I recall. That was a great asset as it allowed you do do more with the massage boy than would normally be possible. Alas the massage bit closed down and soon after I stopped going to saunas, when establishments like Babylon and that sauna on the river bank in Chiang Mai invented the ludicrous concept of having a non-sex massage unit within a sex sauna.

It also mentions gay sauna's in Ubon, Khorat, Phuket among others.
Ive done 2 now the last weeks. TROY and TRIO (L. Prao and RamKamHaeng). But it really remains hit or miss without any clue of what will happen or what you can expect.
A nasty thing (IMHO for me) is that new fad of underwear/small towel/(partle) naked etc. nights. Bring some fancy underwear for just in case. Small towels are the worst-even for drying up after showering. Many Thai take 2 and tie them together.
On the plus-many suburban sauna;s offer free drinks and some even some free food/buffet. But they tend to be far more basic as Babylon with its opulent luxury.

Dropped in at Heaven. Arrived at about 5pm. Being a tuesday evening it was not busy. But I must say there was a nice selection of local talent and as I found out later some folk from Malaysia on a 'tour'. The place is looking really good. Clean and cruisy! Renovated (slightly) shower areas, strong floor in dry sauna, lots of slurping sounds in the part of the steam room where I dared not venture. All in all a very pleasant evening.
