This is not related to sex ormassage but it might be useful to those who frequently visit Thailand and buy a sim card to use there. I remember reading posts about you guys having to buy a new sim card whenever you arrive Thailand as the old one is already expired. I used to do this too but on my recent trip to Bangkok, I went to the DTAC counter at the arrival level. I enquired the boy working there if there is anyway I can extend the validity of my sim card. I was told I can do this by paying 2baht per month and the longest one can extend is 1year. Later, you can do the extension again. I am not sure about those using True or AIS but I think it can be done if you check at their counter in the airport.
So, now I am rather happy as I can give my mobile nbr to the boys and not worrying if it will be still serviceable on my next trip. Cheers.

Since it's possible to transfer validity, as well as credit, between phones, a market has developed. I pay either 50 baht per month or, sometimes, 3 months for 100 baht. Kad Warorot in Chiang Mai is one place where this is on offer, but I'm sure every town/city has many such places. It seems a small price to pay for continuity of phone number.

AIS One-2-Call has many many plans, usually higher the per minute charge longer the validity period. For examples, the Sawasdee Plan charges 2 Bahts per min and a 100B top up will last for 30 days, but the Toh Sabai plan charges 1.5B /min and needs 300B top up to last 30 days. One can switch plans by paying 30B each time.

That's what I was after. As several posters had commented on the "refurbishment" of Tuarus, I didn't think going back and reading what the Tuarus facilities were like would provide sufficient information. However I did find one post that mentioned 2 hot water showers as well as 1 cold water shower. It certainly does not sound very inviting - a bit like the upstairs rooms as several of those Soi 6 bars. I guess if I really like the look of one of them I can arrange for a massage in my room at Tarntawan Hotel (arrive 18th).

Any place that states a minimum tip must have hanky-panky. [Problem is you won't know what hanky-panky is involved, and sometimes (often, in fact) the boy is not into hanky-panky.] In such a place, the tip is all the boy gets. He gets nothing from the establishment. I have also heard that some places require the boy to pay the establishment for the customers they get.
