In my case, I visited their place and had Khun Tar massage me in one of their small rooms. It is a narrow terraced shop house. It's easy to go there...take MRT to Pahoyotin station, exit at the Union Mall gate and walk back along Lhad Phrao road to soi 5. Walk down the soi and turn right at the fist junction and X is down there on the left.

In any case, does Senso have a VIP room at all? I doubt it, because it so happened on that visit that I asked the boy how many rooms they had and whether all the rooms had ensuite bathrooms? His reply, and I remember it as clear as day, was that all the rooms were the same.

By the way, I plan to dis-recommend Senso in my blog. I think they are price-gouging and do not deserve our support. Five minutes' walk away is Fan Club, at 500 baht per hour (half, yes HALF, Senso's price), also with spacious rooms and ensuite showers large enough for three. I also think the boys at Fan Club do a more loving shower than Senso's boys. I found the mamasan at Fan Club (Gobi, I think his name was) far more courteous and helpful.

The way the manager has the boys clock-watching reminds me of the way the previous owner/manager ran Nice Guys (B&N as it is now). The rate I believe was Bht600 for 75 minutes. If you had a massage and finished with good sex (most boys there were fresh and good) and then wanted to go maybe 10 minutes early, the boy would get very agitated and not want to go downstairs to get the cold water early otherwise he would be fined. Also, for some reason or other, the boys had to go downstairs in bare feet and not be dressed when fetching the water. I guess that was to avoid customer complaints but seemed unnecessary. All the boys and most of the customers were delighted when the boss finally sold up.

I've mentioned this before but only saw a brief comment from Sexytiler, has anyone "cruised" the numerous massage places staffed largely by cute boys in Fortune mall (Rama 9 MRT station). There are now about 7. They are all "straight" foot/Thai/Oil places, but I have had sex in 3 of them and so far only tried 4 outlets. There are about 3 on the 2nd floor at the hotel end of the mall. White Elephant is one of the good ones for groping in the Thai massage area...smoking is often an option. Down stairs in the basement floor they are spread out all along the passageway starting at the first shop next to the hotel. Some pleasant young lads there and then there are three more further along toward Sport World. None of these places are guaranteed but good for guys like me who enjoy the chase. You are never going to have to pay more than Bht200-250 for a Thai massage and if you don't get any sex, Bht100 tops is all you need to tip. Start with a foot massage and upgrade if you get some signals from the boy. Don't let them tell you who is going to massage you...make eye contact with the one you fancy and talk to him only and usher him inside so every one knows who you want. Make some comment about how you had him before or squeeze his biceps and say he's just the right strength for you.

I went to Bandung last night and had a great time..again. I selected First for a 2-hour scrub and oil job for Bht700 in a room with a bath. Last time at Senso (November '09) when I was "allowed" to have a regular 90 minute session it was 1100THB. I believe they were asking 900THB for 60 minutes then. The prices have been going up regularly since the day they opened. The guys are not happy about that either. They say when the basic price goes up, tips do down!

If they had a 90 mintues option on the menu for 1200THB when you were there, they either added it back or you were there before they took it off. I'd bet they added it back.

Another of the reasons I enjoyed Senso was the fact that the guys always showered with the me before the massage. At other places it's about 50/50. At Senso it seemed to be the standard practice. But, yes some were much better than others.

I believe Senso does have a VIP room. However, I believe it is like the other rooms but it has two massage tables and a couch. Room the same, furnishings different. They have a picture of it on the website.

I had a terrible experience at Adonis last trip. Probably won't go back. I have been to Fan Club once. It wasn't good, but i'd try it again. I did like the big rooms and spacious showers.

Like I said, I had good experiences at Arena and Hero this time and that is probably where I would start next time. However, one good experience doesn't guarantee a second one as we all know. And, staff changes quickly.

Hero doesn't have a 90 minutes option available either. But, when I was there we went over 60 mintues and no one seemed to notice or care.

I just looked back at a report I wrote about a visit to Senso in July 2008, and was slightly shocked to read that I paid 650 baht for a 60-minute massage. In these 18 months, they've raised it to 1000 baht! The nerve!

I had perused the free mags and this comes from MAX-nr 91-jan.2010/53. It also has a full page about GRAND OPNING-of this venue-with a page full of pix of what really looks like the normal Thai masagemen/boys. It even had a ''top model of the night'' contest.
The regular ad had a man only. So even with that I had my doubts as to what a gay venue might do on that soi/area of town. The mystery-see the reports of other visits- remains there!

But 1 hour oil for that price is even lower as what the cheapest of the normal streetside places Thai style offer. tip for masseur not included.
