Adams apple chiang mai - reopening date

It was confimed some months ago that the owner will reopen the bar as a go go boy venue and is in the process of refurbishing.

Last mention of opening date that I found was 'trying to open for songkran' (2009).

Any member have any more up to date information please, re projected opening date?

It would indeed be "amazing thailand" if it opens by Songkran. But at least work is indeed in progress. I saw the building about a week ago, and my rough estimate is that 2 - 3 months may be needed (Thai-style pacing).

However, just because contractors are at work does not necessarily mean it will reopen as a gogo bar. I have no information on that, perhaps your information is more reliable.

Having passed the place several times a day for the past couple of months I've been surprised at how consistently work has been taking place. In spite of this it does seem some way from completion and Songkran 2009 seems unlikely.
