this is exactly my experience when i visited bkk last time. the only thing that still makes bkk a bit different from other large asian cities is a highly developed sex industry. once it's gone, bkk would be as 'exciting' as tokyo, seoul or beijing.

We all seem to have very different experiences.

Probably? More like certainly. I don't know how it could be any other way. We're not, after all, Stepford wives, are we? If we were all similar in every physical and emotional trait, we would all be having very similar experiences. And there would be little need for forums like this.

I remain grateful for the hot ones among us who report on their wonderful experiences and are generous enough to explain that their successes—and our less exciting sojourns—are the inevitable result of they’re being younger, fitter, more attractive and happier.

I would have never figured that out without their guidance.

Meanwhile, I find that it is the information provided by Sextile, Taoboxer and a handful of others, who check their ego at the door, who distinguish this forum from the others.

don't really get that obsession with gsm sauna. on my only visit there years ago, it was filled with chubby thai chinese (and a few white chubs too). at least 65% of gays are in various states of chubbiness. u can go anywhere, sauna, club, bar, park, sex cinema, shopping mall or local gym, to meet chubby asians. u don't need gsm sauna to see/meet them.

well, dear sextile, hen you have even more as I have listed somewhere-but I am not really all keeping that uptodate. I guess a fair lot fot hose have changed name (do you also check the adresses?) and various may have closed by now. In fact about any of all those gay listing-sites are incomplete.
For a short overview of gay bisnis in BKK these are my approx. figures:
GOGO-about 12/13-bar 2 all around Silom
KaraOke-5-6, all in Sapan Kwai
disco/pub with dancing: 12-15, bar 2 all out of Silom! (RamkamHaeng, Ratchda-8, OToKO/Chatuchak)
M2M massage-around 70-80 (plus those ''in denial'' around Silom)
sauna-40-50 (or maybe then even more)
Very rough approx estimate: 1000/1200 boys working in the Gogo's/KaraOK and same nr-slightly more, in the M2M massage. other places do not normally employ boys for direct rent.
