The "fucking zone" is just a small room on the top floor -- maybe 10' x 15' -- with a raised table in it.

Normally, it's the video room.

Yes, you have to be naked to go in and yes the lights are on bright.

The room can only fit about fifteen people -- and yes there were that many people in it and they were indeed fucking.

If you stop fucking, you're immediately kicked out -- even if you're with a partner. They have a kind of referee in there keeping watch like a hawk (at least he was naked).

It wasn't all that exciting, to tell you the truth.

The rest of the place is just a normal sauna (karaoke room, gym, sauna/steam, private rooms, mosquito-ridden roof garden.

Sometimes it's all naked, sometimes naked in some zones only, sometimes not.

Nothing special.

Oh -- and they also have an attached massage facility with about a half dozen masseurs on call.

And (ironically) some kind of evangelical church next door.

I have been there three times now and not seen another farang. The crowd is mostly in their twenties and looking for the same.

The first time was when it first opened, and I was curious to see what it was all about. I had a fuck buddy with me on that visit, so I wasn't really cruising.

The second time was several years later (recently), and I was curious to see how the place had evolved.

I have not been to Cruising in many, many years -- since before they started these special events.

The location is not very convenient to me.

note for those interested there are 2TWO Cruising Sauna's. the nr2 is on Sukhothai rd, in Dusit, and quite near to the SamSen train station (bus 12 from the Vict. Mon. passes, bus 50 from RamIV passes nearby).
Funny to read this about Torpedo, as I currently sit just a few 100mtrs away from it. Went there twice last year and had good times, but that was midweek and with just the usual quite small Thai crowd. Did not note anything about those nights! What I despise of those sauna's are those ''theme-evenings'' like small towel, underwear etc. you never know what it will be when you come and with just a tiny hanky-size towel you cannot even get dry after a shower. But most locals take 2 of them and tie together.

Cruising Sauna is a long walk from any MRT or BTS station: you might want to take a motorbike. It's north of the White Elephant building.

It's basically directly across the main street from Major Cineplex (which is on Phahonyothin Rd)--then a little north, and then turn right, and then down a wide soi, on your right hand side. The soi is north of soi 30--just north of the main road crossover bridge.

This is an old, established, sauna, with many floors, and I think a lot of Thai will think it's "dirty" (Thai always seem to think cleanliness is important).

Except when they're throwing trash on the street, of course.

Just be aware there are 2=TWO sauna's, the nr 1 is across from major/Phahonyotin, the very busy street up north where 100s of buses pass, like f.e. 39,34,59 from Vict. There was no free alcohol last night. Nevertheless, I have never had so much attention in my life. It was completely extraordinary and, I must say, a pleasant surprise after reading all of the posts on this board and others that the guys at 39 Underground have no interest in farangs. I'm 37 - but look about 30 (especially in the subdued lighting of a sauna).

That's the difference: you are reasonably young, speak Thai, know how to behave politely around Thais, and likely have good personal hygiene.

The people who are always complaining about "sticky rice" almost always lack at least one -- often more -- of these traits.

I think the Thai are remarkably race-blind when it comes to sexual attraction. They are turned off by people who are impolite (according to Thai culture) and don't take reasonable care of themselves physically -- for which they can't be blamed. They can also be shy if they think they can't communicate with you, and are no more likely to be attracted to people two or three times their age than anyone else.

Just to top off my outrageously debauched weekend I went to Cruising Sauna last night for their fucking zone event. It was packed. I'd estimate close to 300 naked men at its peak. Mostly 20s and 30s, varied body types. The guys are not shy. I did not go with the intention of participating in the fucking zone but did take a quick peek at one stage. Fucking like rabbits in a very brightly lit room. Quite the sight.

I liked this place much more than 39 Underground. It was much bigger with many more rooms and cruising places. Enter on the ground floor where the lockers are. Second floor has the "zone" where the advertised activities take place - fucking zone, orgy zone, chuck wow zone etc. On this floor is also a self service drinks counter, with alcohol, dj, and at the back a video room with a maze at the back and a few glory holes. The third floor has private rooms and a cavernous cruising space where lots of hot and sweaty action was happening. Fourth floor has a small gym, showers, steam and sauna. Fifth floor is the rooftop garden.

I had a great time. Got a few phone numbers, sucked countless Thai cocks, had countless guys playing with me, both in the communal areas and in private rooms.
