Let me second scoops' request - please tell us more about your Manila experiences. I may be heading that way myself in a few months.
As for street toughs, you may well find them in the gogo bars nowadays. The boys are older than ever before, more tattooed than ever before, and some of them look positively criminal to me. Might be what you're looking for  In Bangkok, try Hotmale, Fresh Beach Boys, Future Boys.If you're looking for street toughs for massage, try Arena or His - if it's still in operation.
