this is going to be my first trip to pattaya in december how much do u normaly tip a guy u off from one of the bars or give to a guy in the massage places also how much if u meet a freelance guy on the street please help if u can it will be much appreciated also any other helpfull advice thanks

In Pattaya 1,000 bt buys just about anything. For special service, overnight etc 1,500 up to 2,000.

For boys on the street or Gayromeo you may make a deal for a quickie as low as 500 bt.

As they usually say "up to you....."

I have just returned from Thailand and agree with the above rates.

Pattaya Go Go boys are 1000 baht short time.

Massage guys between 500 up to 1000 baht if they are really good.

Gay Romeo guys are happy with 500 baht. "Taxi Money" they call it. I did meet a guy who has a job outside of bar work for no up front payments on two nights but made the mistake of asking him out for some food/drink which cost me a fortune when we visited all the places where his friends work.

I didn't need to try any on this trip but street trade is also 500 baht. Take them to a short time hotel for better security.

Just don't take any of them out for food afterwards and any clubs/discos or it will cost you 1000s of baht when their friends all arrive for the party.

Just have sex and move on. Follow this rule and save your money, they are all professionals at manipulating the rich farang.
