What do you mean by "sucked to completion"? And where you can have "poppers on sale"? I do not want to take poppers from my homecountry, because maybe problems with customs.

Poppers ...

Hi Hans
At the beach towards the end of the afternoon, you will see boys wandering about with bottles of poppers concealed in the palm of their hands. As ever in Thailand you should negotiate price. I understand your point about bringing poppers through customs - not sure about Thai law on this, but I dont want to experience a jail. I use poppers but never when I have used viagra.
"Sucked to completion" means I cum in his mouth.

Xfun - Agree with you 100%.

Hi Sextile
Well you are telling me that poppers are illegal in Thailand. I wonder if there have been any prosecutions - that would certainly affect my conduct. Poppers are easily manufactured from basic chemicals easily available.
Of course prostitution is also illegal !!!!. You get my point.

-- You do not have to believe me, (I am not into such things. It's true that I have not consulted chapter & verse in the Books of Law and that I'm parrotting what's been passed-on to me.),; you're welcome to find-out for yourself.

I'm sure Sextile is right, they are almost certainly illegal in Thailand. However so are counterfeit LV bags and copy new release movies.

If you want poppers, there's an older Thai guy peddling them in the deck chair section of Dong Tan beach, Jomtien. I'm sure you'll easily find him if you ask any of the Thai boys - of course what's inside the bottles - who knows !

-- From my amnesic memory I believe that this matter of 'Poppers.' and their like has been debated before in one thread or another of CFS.; memory suggests that one of our esteemed Moderators, for whom no-one has an higher regard than me, confirmed their illegality.

I think the fact that they aren't sold openly here -- and the way in which those who do sell them sneak around -- is a pretty good confirmation that they are illegal.

I have never heard of anyone being prosecuted, and have no idea what the penalties would be if you were to be caught selling/possessing/using.

I guess it would be similar to glue sniffing, as poppers are definitely not classified as a narcotic.

Anyway, all I know is that the last thing you want to do in Thailand is get caught up with the police, so I think it's worth bearing in mind.

I've done a Google search. "Poppers Thailand". Quite a few results but some of them were in connection with fishing !.
A number of contributors asserted that they were illegal in Thailand without giving chapter and verse. Obviously if you feel the need to buy and use them discretion is obviously the best policy. I wonder if a boy would report you to the police in the hope of a reward ?.
Some boys I have had sex with were obviously familiar with them, but only one accepted to sniff, when I told him it helps with the pain whilst being topped.

yes, everything I have seen and people I have spoken to indicates that they are illegal. Guys who have been overseas seem to be at ease with them but it could really open you up to risk taking and serious consequences should your choice of partner dobs you in.

Poppers are illegal in the USA, too. Yet I have 3 bottles in my possession, bought over the counter as video head cleaner (odd they still call it that even though the VCR is almost dead).

do the poppers have a brandname (like Rush etc.etc.), or are the poppers they sell at the beach just a little bottle without any sign on it?

BTW, thanks for your information.

Are there any boys who want to have your cum in their mouth? What bar in Pattaya they work? On my last visit I offed a boy from Funny Boys, but he refused to do so, which I can understand.

In the U.S., poppers are sold in adult bookstores and even bathhouses. I tried them once and had headaches for over 2 weeks. I don't understand why people are so fixated with them. Thai are smart to avoid them. I also think that poppers users become dependent on them. Also, it seems that, like glue-sniffing, they would cause brain damage.

Find it hard to believe that poppers are illegal in every US state. In New York they are sold quite openly. I know someone who gets the brought in from the US. But they are illegal here, as they are in places like Singapore and Hong Kong.

From Wikipedia, which isn't infallible:

Legality

Around 1990, many Western governments banned the sale, importation or usage of alkyl nitrites (poppers) for use as an inhalant. In France, the sale of products containing butyl nitrites, pentyl nitrites, or isomers thereof, has been prohibited since 1990 on grounds of dangerousness to consumers.[46] In 2007, the government extended this prohibition to all alkyl nitrites that were not authorized for sales as drugs[47]. After litigation by sex shop owners, this extension was quashed by the Council of State on grounds that the government had failed to justify such a blanket prohibition: according to the court, the risks cited, concerning rare accidents often following abnormal usage, rather justified compulsory warnings on the packaging.[48]

Poppers remain available over the Internet, under names such as "video head-cleaning fluid," "room aromas," or "polish remover," as they remain legal in countries such as Poland, the United Kingdom and China.[49]

In the United Kingdom, Poppers are widely available, and frequently (legally[50]) sold in gay clubs/bars, sex shops, drug paraphernalia head shops, over the internet and on markets.[51] It is illegal to sell them advertised for human consumption under The Medicines Act, so to bypass this, they are usually sold as deodorizers.[52]

[In the United States,] originally marketed as a prescription drug in 1937, amyl nitrite remained so until 1960, when the Food and Drug Administration removed the prescription requirement due to its safety record. This requirement was reinstated in 1969, after observation of an increase in recreational use.

Other alkyl nitrites were outlawed in the USA by Congress through the Anti-Drug Abuse Act of 1988. The law includes an exception for commercial purposes. The term commercial purpose is defined to mean any use other than for the production of consumer products containing volatile alkyl nitrites meant for inhaling or otherwise introducing volatile alkyl nitrites into the human body for euphoric or physical effects.[19] The law came into effect in 1990. Visits to retail outlets selling these products reveal that some manufacturers have since reformulated their products to abide by the regulations, through the use of the legal cyclohexyl nitrite as the primary ingredient in their products, which are sold as video head cleaner, polish remover, or room odorants.
