OK guys, here's the low-down...

1. newly arrived in BKK (resident).
2. turned on by reading about go-go shows etc. and would like to visit at some time and have some fun...

but:

3. feel a jerk (and maybe just too shy!) going in alone (been openly gay for years, but a bit of a novice, scene-wise! BKK is definitely NOT Old Compton Street!).

So - as I don't know anyone in BKK - my question. Is there any sort of social scene amongst the 'fareng' here in BKK? Seem to be quite a few residents posting here. Where can I meet up with similar western guys (more familiar with BKK than I am) for a beer and chat, before 'hitting the hotspots'?
