I'm getting bored with Babylon and think it is time to try a new sauna. Anyone been to Heaven Sauna recently?
Could you post a detailed review(what is the crowd and action like, layout of the sauna, best times to go). I am 65 years old, fit and slim.

I have been to Heaven Sauna a few times so my experience is limited but current. For me it was more of a miss than hit but I do see some potential. I’m in my 50’s and was hit on by a few Thai guys but nothing seemed to develop beyond the look. I did see one older Thai guy giving a young Thai boy a HJ in the hot tub on the roof. The young Thai looked off dispassionately as the Thai uncle did the stroking with a look of glee. Then after quite some time the cute young Thai got up and left. Then in the steam room two Thai 30-something's were going at it. That was just about all of the sexual activity that I noticed for a late afternoon visit where there were about 20 guys in house. Some talking in groups and the rest cruising but not connecting.

I do know a farang that swears by Heaven over Babylon. He’s in his early 60’s and feels that Heaven is more of a friendly place to get to know someone and then get sexual rather than grouping in the dark at Babylon.

It took me looking around a little to find it. You have to take the lift to the right to get to the correct floor. Not well signed.

There is a small useful gym on the entrance floor, a dining area with bar, karaoke also in the evenings, a small lounge in another corner and lockers.

A spiral staircase takes you to the next level for cruising areas, maze, DVD porn area. Here there are showers, toilet, sauna, steam and delightful outdoor area with spa. The sauna is being scented with eucalyptus or some such at last. The steam room is action if you like dark places and not so dark if you go in the afternoon. Twinky types wander around cleaning, smoking, and generally keeping an eye on themselves in the bathroom mirror, oh and you too if you should happen to get between them and the mirror... However they are very friendly.

The cruising area/maze AFMnt'd is a busy place. It has a totally dark crescent for the ugly and unashamed! Hah!! A geat place to secure a partner for a cubicle. Curiously (?irritatingly) many cubicles have windows but fortunately locks so there is no need to move the furniture to block doors...

The AFMnt'd by Khun Sxtl underlines an increasing popularity at peak hours. During the week 5pmish to 8 is a good time for all those fellows locked up in offices or behind counters who drop in on the way home to their spouses/parents/flatmates to leave a small protein deposit. You may want to try this time.

There is a regular but small farang clientelle. It really is not an international place like BBYLON so if you want to catch up with Euros, Yanks and so from the wider caucusus may be not the place for you.

From the ladyboy on the front counter, to the bar boys and other staff it has a friendly welcoming atmosphere.

Agree with ICON-good overview. Very strange palce for a gay sauna-but hey, this is BKK. Annoying is, that the showers are after the dark rooms after you change, thus not easy to locate on 1st visit. Mainly Chinese, many regulars and some Thai rush in+out after work to penetrate them. Very busy sometimes, weekdays. Entry 130 bt, only freebie is icewater-if you can find a cup. Lots of smoking-the real Cigs! On my visit mainly mid-age and hardly any young. Indeed-a lot of see through (other side mirror) glasses and several cabins without doors-some patrons seem to like that. Much groping and sighing.
Very interesting collection of also oldstyle Thai gay mags-the complete HERO-of the 90ies and not even much used/thumbed.
