Have been to Heaven Sauna a few times in the last week. Here is a report. Located in Tn Mahesak where it crosses Tn Silom opposite Tn Surasak and Holiday Inn on the corner. (about ½ km from Surask BTS). On the RHS walking away from Tn Silom mount the stairs of the first building walk between columns within and take lift to 4th flr. ‘Heaven’ is in front of you. About 130 baht may be a bit less depending on time of day. Gym, bar, karaoke, lounge with cable on ground floor. Spiral staircase takes you to the first and only other floor. At the top of spiral staircase there are a couple of dark cruise passages. They all take you out on to the roof where there is dry sauna, steam room with ante room and back room, showers, spa, toilets and sit out area.

+ves – Downstairs area is nicely designed tidy and comfy if u want to just sit & ponder; roof sit out area is wonderful in the evening; most clientele (author included) would not make the GQ 2ndary listing & are therefore more relaxed. No Ms Piggy harrumphs observed; there are some nice ordinary guys here; some reception staff very bright & welcoming; good supply of towels; cruise area is clean;

-ves – wooden slatted floor in sauna seriously stuffed although no smell of burning human flesh on exposed heater evident… ; there are 2 shower spots, the internal set are useless – grandad’s piddle pressure; NO condoms, NO lube or dunny roll in cubicles I mean really!!; a set of opinionated twinks do the rounds and ‘clean’ bodily fluids up(!) in low light (shurre) before returning to pout ‘n pose outside; kateoy on front desk could do with personality transplant; Neither sauna door or steam room door close by themselves resulting in serious heat loss etc & really a total piss off; American porn is such a turn on(NOT).

General conclusion: better this Heaven than Mrs Pope's

I went there two times about 11 months ago (the first I went, it was just before closing). I found the kathoey very nice and friendly (she let me in for free because I told her it was extremely hard to find the place, and it was just before closing time). i haven't noticed any problems with doors at heaven 'cause i don't go to gay saunas to actually sit in a sauna or steam room. my impression from a past few visits to heaven is that it's become a rather sticky rice heaven, esp. if u're only into gymfit guys (of whom there might be one or two max). the receptionist is friendly and has got a very good (looooong) memory (he's been there forever). and yes, there are no condoms or lube provided. but if u're choosy, the chances are u won't need any when inspecting the facilities at heaven.

I think you are pretty much spot on that it is like this. So as someone else says sticky rice. Went there last night late (entry only 50baht by then) and you can be surprised. Been back a few more times at different times and I must say the place is growing on me (not the candida). Some of the staff are VVG. The bar boys very good, attentive. Had some wonderful great hunks there as well. The floor in the sauna has been fixed but sauna and steam doors alas still stuffed. If you are reading this a simple counter weight with pulley, string etc, (remember primary school) would close the steam door EVERY time and a bash of a rubber mallet on the door frame of the sauna on the closure side would allow door to close. Both these would save u bahties and the planet. LOL

Overall this place has many pluses but like so many things in LOS has to discovered.

I have to agree with some of the complaints here. But all-in-all, Heaven has always been one of my favorite and best sauans. I've done some crazy stuff here (fisted one guy while sucking him off) and had some great 3 and 4-man orgies in the jacuzzi outside. (Having said that, the jacuzzi probably has some stuff in it you wouldn't want in an open wound.) The steam room is usually good in the back for some dirty action. And if you cruise around the inside area enough, you usually hook up with someone that you're happy with.

I forgot to post that I went to Heaven last Monday--arriving between 7 and 8, and upon entering and walking through, my instinct was "get out of here now and cruise elsewhere." I stayed less than one hour. There were very few guys I was interested in. There was one other farang (who appeared to be walking around a lot but not connecting). Fortunately the tint in my hair stayed fast probably chiefly because the steam room was our of order. I don't know about you but for me the steam room in any sauna establishment is really important. Helps cleanse the pores and gives those courage to make and accept advances that would otherwise be rejected in the cold light of day...

Spoke to LB at front counter and was assured no problem. Will go back 'soon' to check out other goodies.
