Hi guys, I'll be on a vacation for 3 weeks coming up. 12 nights in Bangkok, got the Crowne Plaza Lumpini (at the end of Silom) using points--they had a "Point Breaks" promo during the coup when occupancy was so low. Also have never been to Isaan, so decided for 3 nights in Khon Kaen at the very nice Pullman Hotel (used to be Sofitel I guess), that was only $44/night including breakfast in the Accor Club Members sale. Finally, 5 nights in Chiang Mai at the Mercure Chiang Mai, just a few minutes to the north of the center. $21/night including breakfast.
So now that I've secured my hotels so reasonably, and found some good airfares (BKK-Khon Kaen THB737 on Nok Air, etc) I'm starting to do some cruising research.
While there is a lot of good info on BKK here and on Sawtdee, I'm not very knowledgeable about Khon Kaen or Chiang Mai.
If you know anything, please let me know. I've read about a Beach Sauna group sauna in Khon Kaen, for example, and I know there are a few saunas in Chiang Mai too.
Are there other mainstream or gay message boards or blogs on Thailand that you recommend? I don't want to wade through hours and hours of junk, just trying to get some strong recommendations for those places.

Dolphin massage in KK. Mun-day Sauna in KK. Beach and Mun-day are at opposite ends of town and Dolphin is a 10 min walk from Pullman but watch out for the soi dogs. I reported on all this recently here.
Out sauna is new in CM and a bit out of town, used to be called Cruising Plus sauna and related to Cruising (Out) in Bangkok.
