Should we bring back the "over 30" party?

Hey, all --

Maybe some of you remember the "over 30 party" from a couple of years back. I would rent a hotel room and then invite guys to come and have a little get-together and see what happens.

Well, I'm thinking about bringing it back. For those of you who don't remember, here's how it worked.

1) I'd pick a date and a time range.

2) People would write to me at the address on my profile if interested. Interested parties were e-mailed the exact address.

Here were some of the house rules:

1) This was open to anyone over 18. We said "over 30" just to let the older guys know they were welcome.

2) We did not discriminate on age, race, color, body type, cock size, or any of that jazz.

3) What we did insist on was STD-free, clean (brushed your teeth, had a shower recently), a positive, ready-to-play attitude, and you had to get naked ASAP.

4) The event was free, but we took up a collection to defray the cost of the room.

5) Respect boundaries. Say "no" politely but firmly and accept "no" graciously.

Anyway, these parties went well for awhile, and then there was a gent who started hosting them at his house. This went very well for several months, and then kind of petered out.

SO: here's my question ... would anyone be interested in bringing those parties back? And could we save the expense of a hotel room by having a guy say ... "Yeah! Have that at my place!"?

Just putting it out there to see what the climate is like. Your input and suggestions for making a good party better are welcome.

I think its a great idea.....I'm a total bottom and I'd love to do it. Since the Mecca is closed its hard to find a place to play for TOPS and bottoms.

First of all, a total shout-out for "Tim", the guy who used to host the parties at his place near the U-District.

If you're reading this, buddy, YOU WERE THE PERFECT HOST! WE WANT TO BRING THE PARTIES BACK!!

Right now, I am convinced that there is enough interest in this to try to revive the "over 30" parties. I thought they were very successful and I always had a good time at them.

Now, does anyone have a home for hosting? If not, we may have to go back to the "motel" idea for awhile. I'll try renting a room the first couple of times, but it's strictly on a "trial" basis.

For those of you who are new to this, I'll explain. For the very first "Over 30" party, I rented a room in the Northgate area.

I had 65 -- count 'em, 65 RSVPs in the affirmative.

I had 3 -- count 'em, 3 -- guys show up, and one of them wanted to "just watch". If one of my guests hadn't been very generous in pitching in, I would have been seriously burned on the price of the room.

So, I guess we'll ask if anyone can host (I can do the organizing, trust me). If not, we'll try the hotel thing again. If that turns out to be a bust, though, I'm going to hang it up.

Over 30 party alumni -- if you used to go to these parties, I want to hear from you!! What was good, what was bad, what do you want to add/subtract/change? Let's make this fun and worthwhile!!
