Poppers and Side Effects

At some point I was reading a forum somewhere about anal stuff, because I like to masterbate with anal toys sometimes, and the topic turned to poppers.

In one thread a guy was talking about using poppers while doing anal and there were some side effects that someone mentioned.

It was something like after you begin to use poppers, you can get to a point where you can't have orgasms if you don't use them, or it can allow you ass to really open up which can cause problems.

I don't know for sure, but I was just wondering about side effectsx of using poppers sexually and while doing anal.

In my experience, here is the good, the bad, and the ugly on poppers.

The Good: They intensify the feeling of 'immersion' into sex (especially when they're fresh ... not just freshly opened, but freshly bottled). But you know that already. They also relax the anal muscles, which is great for butt play and anal sex. This is a VERY temporary reaction (it subsides along with the "rush") ... so unless you have diarrhea it shouldn't be an issue, and if you have diarrhea you probably shouldn't be getting butt-fucked anyway (at least not at my place).

The Bad: Lots of guys lose their ability to stay rock-hard and/or cum after too many hits (for some guys, even after one hit). For that reason, I don't like for my top to use them ("don't worry, I'll stay hard" .... yeah, right). But this, too, is only a temporary thing (how temporary? I dunno' ... a couple of hours?) It's not a long-term risk, so if you don't have the problem, great! I didn't have a problem with it until I hit about 42 yrs. old

The Ugly: Spill it on your nose or suck it up your nostrils and you'll get a lovely lesion that lasts for days. I found that Bacetracin Ointment is the best cure.

I've been using poppers for sex for twenty-three years. I have no problem having an orgasm without them. I have no problems getting an erection without them, either.

Yet I've met many guys and talked to many guys online who go limp if they do poppers.

It's just a matter of both personal preference and perhaps differences in individual physiological response.

My mind is certainly unaffected by long-term popper use, or at least that's what the voices coming from my air conditioning ducts tell me. Some here might argue the notion that I'm psychologically sound and to those guys I say: "Just ask my garden gnomes if I can carry on a logical conversation, they'll tell you how sane I am!"

Now, it IS true that using TOO MUCH poppers during a sexual experience can result in a limp dick or inability to climax. But then again, too much booze can do the same thing. Hell, too much of any drug can make Willy soft! At my age, eating a large portion of pasta can put me to sleep and detract from sexual interest, though I will generally skip dinner if I think I can get laid (I prefer sex on an empty stomach).

I have never heard of anyone complaining that poppers have caused their ass to open up to such a degree that they experience embarrassing hygiene issues and/or stained linens. Sounds like a well-worn, stretched out bottom or two out there is looking for something to blame, you know?

Thanks for teh information. After at least a month with nothing up my ass, I used a very large dildo with the use of poppers. Yeah, it does relax the ass and get one past that uncomforatable stage quickly. It works well. Thanks for the information.

I myself don't like the side effects of poppers (get a headache, vision problem) but I like the smell. lol As to whom I am with- they seem to heighten their enjoyment of the activity, some climax quicker, some claim to delay the climax., last longer more fun, etc. (which seemed true having enjoyed the same people without their poppers) But I have noted several will soften and even lose it entirely after hitting the bottle several times. It can be a little disappointing.

Never liked poppers. I don't use and if I see a guy using them it's a major turn off.. It's like if the guy sucking me takes a hit, the bj after he takes the hit is just so lame ...
