-- Today, 17 apr., a'noon. my Enthusiastic & American Friend & I agreed to meet in BIG C. - Ratchadamri at 16.oo.hrs.. However, an upset stomach persuaded him to remain at home.
-- Remembering that on a previous visit I was approx. 45. mins. too late to see any action my ETA./ETD. became 14.40./18.oo.hrs.; - But this time it was v. much 'All quiet on the Western Front.' at that earlier time, only a few mature cruisers seen and positively no YM. whatsoever; in fact the 1st. & YM. cruiser wasn't seen until around 16.40.hrs.; - To pass-away the time I endeavored to remember the Kingston Trio's 1966. hit: 'Where have all the flowers gone?', but with ltd. success; so I retired to SWENSON'S to enjoy a sticky choolate ice-cream for just 99.Bh.; my young friend of the previous visit wasn't on duty then; - Cruising-around again a youngish & plain-looking man, whom I'd noticed earlier - possessor of an avg.+ appendage - & I made eyes at eachother; he followed me into the b'ment. hawn nahm at wch. point I'll allow the hand of discretion ... . --

-- Today, (21 apr. - Maundy Thursday.), and at the request of a railway's enthusiast acquaintance of mine I went to HUA LAMPHONG RAIL'Y. STN.;
- ETA./ETD.: 14.30./1805.hrs.; - I availed of the hawng nahm just after arrival and just before leaving - both times were NTR.; - Plenty of young people in the open & waiting area with quite a few pieces of eye-candy to brighten-up the scene. --

-- Today, 22 apr. - Good Friday., I rec'd an e-mail from khun Wantasian telling me that each time he tries to write an entry in CFS. his computer freezes-up!
- He reminded me that the last time that he cruised in HUA LAMPHONG Rail'y. Stn. - posting in this thread #542. - there were several hot & YM. in the hawng nahm, two of whom he enjoyed within the space of half-an-hour. -- E&OE. as reported speech. -- I was not so lucky y'day. But as my Enthusiastic & American Friend would remind me: 'It's a crap shoot.'. --

-- My Enthusiastic & American Friend invited me to join him today, 23 apr. - St. George's Day, at 15.hrs. in BIG C. - Ratchadamri., for some walking & looking and for some exchanges of gossip, of news etc. etc..
- In fact both us arr'd. earlier than the appointed time, so we walked & looked independently before meeting and comparing notes. Both agreed that pickings were slim, v. slim in fact, with most other cruisers being well into their middle ages and not being prepared to shew, except for one man in the GF. hawng nahm who is getting on but still v. well endowed and having no apparent difficulty in obtaining and mainting an erection. Younger men were few & far between. -- Janitrices, Sec. Gds., (both para-mil'y. types & BIG C's own uniformed gds.), were all too present; it was almost as if BIG C's. mngmnt. was determined to deter cruising; in fact, at one time in the GF. HN. I heard one the BIG C's. gds.* calling-out loudly in Thai, possibly as an audible warning to those there? -- After a while we retired to SWENSON'S - GF. - for ice-cream sundaes and admired the large number of attractive boyz & YM. who were to be seen just walking-about, either with their families or in gps.. - While there we debated as to whether a sat. or a sun.would be the better day to cruise? No final decision was reached. -- The hy. rains having eased-off by 17.15.hrs., and looking at the hy. road-tfc., we decided that that would be a good time to wend our ways back to our acc'ns.. --* He is of avg. height, sallow complexion and stickey-out ears - not really the traditionally Thai facial looks about him; at that time he was wearing a black polo-shirt, with 'Loss Prevention.' ,(or similar wording.), in white thread on the shirt's left breast pkt., over buff/tan colored trousers; he was carrying one of the usual & dk. red colored walkie-talkies.. Quite often he may be seen talking with other para-mil'y. and/or plain clothes Sec. Gds. He does not limit his walking & looking to any hawng nahm in particular but likes to roam. So be alert - Thailand needs more lerts - ha! Ha!! --

-- So that's where you put your tongue? 555! - But seriously, were a suitable Tongue-in-cheek smilie to be made available to us Gentle Readers it might save some unnecessary heart-burns or whatever? -- Well, possibly my earlier posting did reek of ageism? But then, being of a certain age myself, and having been called much worse in my younger days, perhaps I can afford to be careless as to allegations of ageism and of suchlike & other ---isms. perceived as being offensive to the younger perceptions? - Was it not that quintessential Englishman Dr. Sam'l. Johnson who declared that: 'Every man is entitled to his own opinions, just as every other man is entitled to knock him down for them.' ? - I'm not one of that modern breed who does not dare order b---k coffee lest it might cause offence. --

-- Today - 01 may, May day* - my Enthusiastic & American Friend and I met in UP2. hair-dressing salon in CHARN ISSARA I. TWR. before going-on to BIG C. - Ratchadamri; full of hope that today, being a sunday, might be MORE profitable, from a 'Walking & looking.' standpoint, than our previous visit on a saturday?
- My ETA./ETD. 13.oo.-15.30.hrs.; - Suffice it to write that little if any eye-candy was seen there; walking & looking yielded v. little of any note. -- While the 5fl. is OPEN, (the escalator & de-escalator are switched OFF.), the MC.CAFE. is CLOSED pro tem.; several int. decorators hard at work up there, though. -- Possibly many are suffering from Post-Songkran fatigue? Masseurs and others with whom I've talked have all mentioned the DOWN-turn in their lines of business since the Songkran Fest'l.. -- My E&AF. mentioned that before going to UP2. he dropped-in at SILOM COMPLEX SHOPPING PLAZA and in CENTRAL DEPT. STORE's 2fl. hawng nahm he saw an avg. looking & sized YM. displaying a much MORE than avg. sized appendage. The latter invited him into one of the cubicles - an offer, tempting though it might have been - that was declined, ('Possibly regretfully?' - Printer's Devil: ),. --* Just the gentlest of reminders - as May day happened today, sunday, tomorrow - 02 may - will be the actual day of observance: thus expect most Gov't. offices, large businesses etc. etc. to remain CLOSED until tuesday forenoon. --

-- As the poet wrote: 'Hope springs eternal ... .'; or as my E&AF. would say in his MORE down-to-earth manner: 'It's a crap shoot.'. - In fact my E&AF. did meet a portly, middle-aged & Middle-Eastern-looking man who desired him to play with his well-sized appendage, wch. led, naturally, to - if not water - a spring of nahm rak! - Well, one knows but seldom what the future holds, so possibly next time ... ? --
