Decided to check out Sapan Kwai myself last nite, and only got as far as Charming. Arrived about 9 pm to find it quite full of customers (all Thai) and about 12 boys in street clothes sitting facing the audience (typical Sapin Kwai style.) There was a good selection of attractive boys, mainly uni students working for pocket money, and a very helpful youthful English speaking Mama-san. I selected a stunning 21 y.o. from near Chiang Mai and off we went for a very nice nite! A nice change from the pushy Surawong bars. (Drinks about 100bt and off fee 300.)
