Despite the persistent rumors, I have never, ever seen a Russian boy working in Bangkok. An Italian previously at V Club, a couple Moroccans and a Canadian previously at Hero, a Palestinian previously at Body Entertainment in Bangkhen -- that's about it.

I don't know of any foreigners (other than Burmese, Laos, and Cambodians -- of which there are scads) currently plying their trade anywhere in Bangkok. This venue was (maybe still is) same owner as Albury. A farang acquaintance told me recently he believed it was now part of BBB group.

Four/five years ago I had some good experiences at this venue but last visit (1 month ago) the selection was just awful, mostly quite overweight, mostly boys who are years over use by date.

I had a short conversation with the mamasan, including asking which boys can be screwed (dek alai rup dai), which prompted a quick, 'every boy can do everything', I said 'mai phen rai maybe next time' in Thai, which prompted a mouthful of abuse, in Thai. After a stressful week on business in Taipei I flew into BKK enroute to my next destination.

I'm not a senior (at least not totally) yet, but have had a lot of time on my hands recently, so have been visiting some places that I long ago gave up on. I recently posted about my experience at Andy's Man. The place sucks and so did the guy. (That's NOT a bad thing.)

Tonight, out of boredom and despair, I happened by Red Massage on Soi Twilight. It was probably 23.30 by the time that I got there. There were quite a few boys sitting outside, plying their trade. One struck my fancy, so I decided "Why not?"

Like Andy's Man, the place sucks, and so did THIS lad. He wasn't in to fucking at all, but was more than happy to do anything else. The only annoying thing was that, when I saw him on the street, he was totally clothed, and once naked, he was totally tatooed.

I don't have a clue what his name was but when all was said and done, I gave him my customary THB 1,500 tip and he thought he was supposed to use some of that money to pay for my massage. When I told him the whole amount was for him, he was elated.

When paying, I noticed that the menu stated that the minimum tip for the boys was THB 300....which is condsiderably less than other establishments are expecting these days.

I'm still not convinced that Red is worth a trip, but if it's late at night and none of the bar boys strike your fancy, it's not a bad alternative.

My fourth (I think) visit to Apsara and third boy - each time there's been no question about a "happy ending" or not - although the latest is better described as mildly amusing rather than happy. Not sure what you mean here. I've been to just about every massage place in town, and never once had anyone "insist" on any tip -- much less a monumental one. I've never had anyone mention money at all, as a matter of fact. If they did, I could tell you that a very verbal complaint would be registered.
