Does any one knows any cinemas in Huai Khwang - Ratchadaphisek area?

Hi Sextile, brilliant information, I am very new to Bangkok, but into the cinema stuff, both straight and gay. I tried to find the cinema in China town tonight....found the hotel no problem at all, but trawled up and down opposite it, and found nothing.....can you help there at all.

I have another question, as I am struggling to find these places (however it is early days, I won't give in easily) how many adult cinemas straight and gay do you think there are in the City.

1.- Short of taking you by the hand there's little more that one can do; posting #84. gives as good a set of dir'ns. as one can manage; but note that it is upstairs and that at times you might have to walk-through a cheap & cheerful eatery on the GF.;
- An elderly & American friend visits there several times weekly, thus one knows that it's there still and has been busier of late.

2.2.- LAEM SONG, nr. Khlong toei MRT.;

2.5.- STATE - Sam rong &
2.6.- TAKSIN THE GT. CIRCLE - Thonburi.
- There are certainly MORE - possibly known only to Thai initiates?

-- I do not know at first hand; but at least a couple of farangs, patrons of such places, have assured me that that particular cinema has been CLOSED for quite some time. :(

-- Y'day., (04th. & Am. Indep'ce. day.), my elderly & frequently visiting farang friend went to ChinaTown;
- He was there from roughly 12.30.-17.oo.hrs.!
- On his arrival it was fairly full, but as the a'noon. progressed so MORE patrons came-in until it was both full and busy; a very good & varied sel'n. became avail.. In fact - and just between us girls - he ran-out of Condoms; ;)
- Also present was an elderly & portly Thai who gives massages in the videotorium - usual price for a gen'l. massage is just 100.Bh. - but possibly further att'ns. might be on offer?
- Amongst those there was a couple of still youngish money-men, one of whom is well-endowed and gives a satisfying svce.; both welcome donations of 200.Bh. for their svces..

-- He mentioned that several days ago there was one man in the front row of seats who undressed au naturel and then stood-up the better to display his good sized erect'n.; my friend was so o'come. at the sight that he fell-down to his knees.

I also had a hard time finding the place 6 months ago. From what I remember, you have to walk back into an open store area and the entrance is in some corner in the back right. You then walk up stairs.

I think it's not really helpful to discuss these cinemas by name (instead we should identify them by location). It seems very confusing -- all I care about is the location.

- Y'day., (08th.), evening, this would be around 19.15.hrs., and being in the vicinity of KING TAKSIN THE GREAT CIRCLE I looked-in at the well-known CHALERM GIAT CINEMA. - vide supra posting #111..
- The box-office was CLOSED; looking inside I saw that the cleaning staff was busy.
- Possibly their business is not so brisk nowadays? ;)

Went today for about 3 hours. Was busy nearly the entire time with guys wanting to be sucked, ages 23-40. Also got fucked 2x in the toilets. :) The place is still going off--it was a Saturday so full of people but mostly they were respectful enough to not come too near us as we played.
There were 4 other Farang there, from what I saw, all about age 50+. I'm not much younger than that, but any competitive advantage helps! :D

- For sat. & sun. he estimated that there might have been some 100 customers there on each day - plenty of sel'n., especially for those who prefer the maturer male. :eek:
- Yesterday, (26th.), was another good day for him, too.
- His one adverse comment was about the number of patrons who are ciggie.-smokers - ugh :(

In last few weeks I have visited both the Saphan Kwai and Prince Theatres (near Saphan Taksin BTS).

Sapahn Kwai - Both visits here were at the weekend, one sun and the following sat. As usual at the weekend this place rocks. A curious sight really... a whole picture theatre full of people - 99% male & 1%TG perpetually looking for that great place to sit down!

There is a good atmosphere here most days. Plenty of the hard stuff to be had. You can also pick up a 200 baht hooker at the entrance to or in the bog. All quite business like and unhassled. The only problem I had was being pursued briefly by a chunky fellow with an orange T-shirt with No. 83 on it. The dogged pursuit of income (his) put me off but you never make a fuss. A minor irritation. Leo's 35 baht at the front counter are chilled to perfection.

The Prince - Not able to get into it here as I used to once. I'm sure this is just me and not a reflection on this haggard ol' dame (I'm referring to the theatre). With so many other busier spots it slips down my list. But it may suit others who want a quieter back water.
