I've never been to Nature Boy and just realized how blessed I've been.

Now you've got me all curious (hot and bothered, too, truth be told)...just what would happen if I took my shirt off at Nature Boy?

-- A few nights ag my elderly & American acquaintance went to TAWAN BAR, Soi Than Tawan - off Suriwong rd..

- A fair mix of the getting-older & over-muscled types with the younger ones.
- After the first cabaret-type act there was the bold/exciting show: two pairs, the Bottoms not being the usual effem. types but quite well-built men;
- Usual acts of fake S&M. with simulated sex and/or smoking; a better than usual Fire-eater who has a well built body; a Jack-off act with 8 boyz, six of whom did what was expected of them; a Big Cock Show - that gave a lie to those who believe that muscle-men are under-endowed - which concluded with some 12 or MORE of them walking-around on the floor between the stage and the spectators, to them a closer view.

- PLUS point was that no-one was seen or smelt to be smoking ciggies.; no ash-trays were put-out, either.

There is a time and place for everything.

Going shirtless at the pool, or sauna, or in the locker room at the fitness center is one thing.

Doing it in a bar, restaurant, library, or movie theater is another.

I go to a bar to see Thai boys without their shirts on. I don't want to see a customer without one (unless he's like really hot).

Care to guesstimate a percentage of male gogo bar customers you've seen over the years, fully dressed or not, who you would rate as "like really hot?"

My experience lies more in Pattaya than Bangkok, and I've seen some who look fairly good for their age (at least in the same sense that some Egyptian mummies look good, all things considered), but I can't recall any clearly who, if they started disrobing, would not prompt me to urgently call, "Checkbin, checkbin!!"

Regarding Jomtien, there appears to be a strong positive correlation between (high Body Mass Index + accumulated cellulite + abundance of wrinkles) and the belief that all of the above should be swathed in the least amount of cloth. Sorry if I gave the wrong impression in my post. What I meant was what would the boys and the management do if I took off my shirt in a bar. I've never done it but having read that it's been done and the offender got rewarded with oodles of fun....well, can you blame me for being curious?

Is it against the law for patrons to divest some of their clothing in a bar here?

-- I am not a spokesperson for any of BKK's a go-go bars; but from my observations I'd write that that behaviour would not be encouraged in Soi Twilight; whereas in NATUREBOY and in SUPER A - both in Si Naras Thiwat 1., (aka. Soi Anuman.), - I doubt if anyone would really worry too much, especially if followed by a suitable benefaction?

I'm not an expert on Thai laws, but I don't think Parliament has gotten around to the Keep Your Shirt On in Gogo Bars Act.


It's mainly a matter of management policy and the nausea threshold of other patrons.

Thanks for all the help. I'll try to keep your advice in mind when I'm next in BKK and decide that flashing a little skin of my own might be worth my while.

Yes, well, aside from your comments on me, several of which have been removed, we all enjoy your numerous, meaningful contributions regarding Thailand.

The only reason you go to Nature Boy is to be intimate with the boys - not for gogo. And it is the boys that will encourage you to take your trousers down and lift up your shirt to get at your nipples.

I normally ignore the other patrons but you cant help look a little when blow jobs are going on.

Yes, you should be aware of where your money is and keep an eye on it specially if you end up with about 5 boys around you with your trousers down.

As to BKKs finest well there are usually at least two people sitting outside by the front door - but I would personally see it as less risky than getting caught in the facilities at Big C, or in the back row of a cinema. but each to their own.

But also need to understand that the police know exactly what hapens at each bar and club and charge them accordingly.
