Senso is on my non returning list. I have been there 5 times and only twice hit the mark. I don't generally blame the venue, it's the luck of who you pick but twice now I picked something I did not bargain on.

First was a good looking boy but he turned out to have a badly silicone enhanced dick. It was fine soft but when hard it had a funny lump.

Last time I picked a nice looking boy, he had long pants on and a shirt. We get to the room and he takes his clothes off for the shower and wow, I have never seen a boy with more body hair than this guy. He was a gorilla. Yet his face and arms were smooth? The hair was all over, not normal body hair distribution. More than some middle Eastern guys. Something abnormal, I think. Maybe someone will like this?

I debated what to do in my mind. He was a very nice boy, friendly and polite and if it had not been for that I would have run out the door. He did an excellent massage too but and did keep his body off mine and mostly used his hands. He has been there 4 days and name was Top. I just had a massage and skipped anything else with him. I might have even asked him to put his clothes back on but his technique was such if I kept my eyes shut all felt normal.

So, there it is. I feel Senso should have known and told me that the one I picked had a funny silicone dick and the other one is a human gorilla but not a hint, so good bye Senso.

I too came across a Thai guy who was a hairy as a typical middle-easterner, but it was in the dark steam-room of a sauna. I really thought he was arab or farang. I had to extricate myself from his pursuit. It got so bad that I had to leave the steam room altogether. When opening the door to exit I turned around, taking advantage of the light, to see who it was who had been pursuing me, and was completely surprised to see a 30-ish Thai guy.

I haven't been to Senso more than once, but I too would apply a simple principle. Any place that charges above average has to deliver extra value to justify it. While a venue cannot control the chemistry between customer and client, it can still do many other things: e.g. ensure good training for staff, or open and honest information to customers, and so on.

My impression on my one visit too was that Senso charged more than the rest, but delivered no more than the same "try your luck".

Well, when I arrived at Senso there were four boys in the lobby and two of them took off their shirts. And these reports are appreciated, even bad experiences. I would say, particularly if they are bad experiences. It helps others like me make decisions.

It's been some time too since I stepped into Arena myself, nor have I seen reports from anywhere lately. Based on my last visit, I have the recollection that it was gently going to seed. Hence, I wouldn't suggest that its facilities are phenomenally classier than Sukothai Massage and that ilk. But there remains a difference nonetheless: Sukothai et al are foot massage and thai massage places, not sex massage places, therefore there is the extra hassle of having to negotiate for sex, which negotiation may not always be successful depending on the boy; whereas at places like Arena, the climax of the massage is expected to be, well, a climax. Showers are also ensuite in both Arena and Body Club.

Price-wise, Arena is 450 baht for one hour, Body Club is 395 baht for 90 minutes, comparable to what your friends are paying at those "grungy" and "grotty" (theoretically) non-sex massage places.

But I do understand that sometimes one goes to the mangiest dog of a place in search of the one love. We've all done that, I'm sure.
