1. "Need to book in advance" is just a marketing plow, used in many situations. Normal stuff.
I have visited this venue. It's very nicely set up, must have cost a fortune. The manager speaks very good English, is friendly, good listener and not pushy. I arrived about 1500 and 10 young men appeared, all had good appearance, well groomed and full of friendly smiles. I had a call from my ofice and I had to quickly abandon the massage at that time. I returned about two hours later and 7 of the 10 were with customers. 2. "When a Student is a Model". Come on this is just marketing stuff, there are people who have fantasies of getting it off with students, muscleguys, ladyboys rednecks, construction workers, etc etc etc. 3. As I said, the manager speaks good English, call him for clarification of the menu.

Since you said you went back, did you get a massage there? Rates? Experience?

Yes I did get a massage.
It wasn't marketed as a Student Massage but the masseur was in fact a student, both of massage and other academic studies. Quite good English. I don't recall his name, medium height, excellent body, great smile, polite and pleasant, from memory 20 years old, said he was straight (whatever that means in Thailand) but he worked hard at pleasing the customer and he had no trouble getting hard and releasing a quite large amount of his juice, and with lots of loud moans. I gave him my usual tip for good service and he was quite happy with that. It was only his second working day at a massage venue. But lets be pragmatic, this place seems to be very well managed and operated, but the bottom line is that you select a boy at any venue and see what turns out! Fifty percent good success rate is probably about par for the course (my guess) and it always will be.

Bento car park is under the same roof as the actual venue (which is a condo or apartment building).
The Bento front door is on the right hand side of the building on the right hand side. Just drive down the side of the Bento wall which takes you under the building, and car park is right there. Couldn't possibly be easier.

I think I'll give Senso another go. My first try was OK. The facilities are nice and all. The masseur I chose was quite good-looking but neither the massage nor the post-massage experience made the expense worthwhile... it was OK, but at those prices I want a bit more than OK. I'm hoping the second time will make up for the first... or else next time I'll trudge over to Hero despite the inconvenience. My best massage experience was at Hero, but that involves more travelling time, the place was rather hectic and the ride back on the BTS made me feel empathy for tinned sardines. Of course, if we do get some positive first-hand reports about Bento (and some more specific information than their website appears to offer), that too would be nearer to The Tarntawan, where I usually stay.

Could you help with these?
1. Rate card price for the massage you took; how much, and was it for 1 hour or longer? 2. Did the service include the boy showering you before and after like in Hero?

I'd like to know what the basic charges are for a single massage. They list costs for multiple massage coupons or cards.
What's the minimum tip, if any is stated? Is it like most of the higher end places where the boy is naked throughout, showers with you ... Not exactly "details," but it would be nice to hear from several people who have visited the place concerning the number of boys on duty at any given time, if they have a common physical profile or have a variety of physiques & sexual orientations. I know that's a lot and will take time before reports come in, but as I say I don't have a lot of time in Bangkok to experiment so I depend (at least initially) on a consensus of opinion to direct me. It would be nice if Bento provided some pictures of the boys who are working there ... and not pictures of very sexy boys who probably have nothing to do with the place ... and listed prices & tips on their website. Probably the best place I've been is Hero and I know they don't even have a website, but just about every report I've read has been very positive, which is why I went there in the first place. The only thing I have against them is that their popularity has turned the place into something of a madhouse. Senso has had mixed reviews, but their website was well done ... showing their nice facilities and photos of many of their masseurs. Bento hasn't had time to garner many reviews and their website leaves a lot to the imagination. Incidentally, I emailed both Senso and Bento with a couple of questions. Senso replied promptly. So far, Bento ... nothing. That has nothing to do with the potential massage experience, but it does say something about how business-like they may be in responding to customers.

For the Boss Mansion number, you end up with a pre-recorded message in Thai asking you to key in the extention number. You can get an operator by pressing zero, but she too speaks Thai. As for the mobile number that you see on their website, "oh, it finit," said the manager of Agaya.
