- Briefly two points were mentioned -
1.- Alcohol can OPEN the pores and thus INCREASE the risks of irritation and lead to possible damage to the sensitive linings;
2.- Soap and water should be quite adequate enough.

Kissing is not something done in Asian tradition until now. Husbands & wives show their love in commitments rather than in physical affection. When you're aware of this, it is not surprising that many Thais do not kiss. Having said that, of course you'd find many Asians who have taken to kissing with a vengeance.
