-- Not long after I'd moved and settled-in to my present acc'n. I got to know a couple of Thai boyz - both from off Rama IV. rd. - as it were.
- After several & enjoyable months both were back in my appt. one day and one of them & I went to enjoy a shower etc. together, (no - notexactly water sports!); ret'd. back to my room I saw that the other Thai boi had left and taken my computer with him. Collusion?
-It was ret'd. a couple of days later, I suspect because it was an olde model from RP., didn't play DVDs. and didn't have its bty. installed.
- Maybe I was just unlucky? However: 'Once bitten ... .'. as the olde proverb tells us; wch. is why I find the SURIWONGSE HOTEL's 'short time' rooms so useful - even at 350bh. for three hrs..

Ironically, the only time I've had anything stolen in 20 years of cruising, was when I took 2 boys from Screw Boy to the Suriwong , short time, and later discovered one had lifted a US$100 note from my wallet while was in the shower. I considered that my own fault as I should never had brought out such a large note with me (the first and only time I've ever had one of that demonination as a farang friend had just that day repaid me for a hotel deposit I'd paid on his behalf.) I've taken countless (hundreds) to my hotels in BKK or my condo in Jomtien and never lost a thing, despite the boys in many cases just living from day to day. I'd say 99% honest, but as always it's the bad 1% you have to defend against.
